Simply nice !
Very good phone, using since 1 month, no major problems found... found one battery calibration problem from the 1st use, but A Battery Calibration App resolves that problem.
Little lag on some Games, hope they will fix on upcoming upgrade....

I wish it's dimensions were 5.65 x 2.78 x 0.27 inch. To me, everything about this device was great except it's dimensions. I wish asus bring a version of this device with little less length and width. I sold this device after using 3 month just for this problem.

Using zenfone 2 Ze551ml 4gb for quite a while now...
Here are some of my humble opinion on it
Lagging-none
Sim always showing "x"
solution is, u just need to change from 4g to 3g due to ur area dont have that much dense of 4g coverage.
Simply go to Settings > More > Cellular networks (Mobile networks) > Preferred network type.
Heating while fast charging -- every android experience that, its no big deal its still normal, it even state "your device may get a little warmer during fast charging" right??
Flickering WHY Flickering ?
Quick reason is, it happened just because the new updated OS not able to decide between software CPU or hardware GPU.
How To Solve Display Flickering Error on Screen by Android Jelly Bean
Go to settings >> More Tab >> About device.
Find "Build number" and click 6 times fast on it.
You will then get the message saying: "You are now a developer"
Come back to Home Screen, and then go back to Settings >> More Tab >> Now you will see the "Developer Options"
Now go to Developer options >> Drawing Section or Rendering Section >> Find "Turn off hardware overlays" or "disable hardware overlays" >> This will force the phone to always use GPU for screen compositing
This is temp solution until they find or fix the problem. But this is the typical fix for this common problem in most any android phones. Hope this tut helps you out there.

Zenfone 2 is pretty well damn good phone to consider plus with very affordable value

Do you use screen protector or tempered glass ?
If yes, maybe it covered asus proximity sensor (about 1 cm left from speaker)

Phone has problem... When ever we are calling to some else screen will off automatically, trying to on the screen, but not able to do. Once the call completed screen getting on. This was very critical issue (As we can not on the speaker, not able to see the contacts, etc.. due to this).

WORST NIGHTMARE COME TRUE
Its sensors r nt working.As soon as i take the fone near my ear screen goes off.Fine.Bt wenevr I remove it fm there to cut the call or do any function on yhe fone,I hav to press power button ,open screen lock n then redo whole thing..Not expected fm asus even call transmission not clear ...anybody pl help me out

It is really a Good phone Asus Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML). everything OK. But after the latest update I find some issues. they are..
1. 2GB RAM zenfone2 (ZE551ML) phone gets to much time to charge it full.
2. Display become awkward after this update.
3. Images gets blurred.
4. heating issue is also found after the update.
5. Especially Manual Camera Mode is very very worst, I have never found such a poor image in manual mode.
6. Even (ZE551ML) 2GB RAM mobile get charged with Computer it takes too much time to charge full. No quick option is found in in this model. WHY..?
I believe it is my responsibility to inform Asus becoz I like Asus Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) very much. Asus has to resolve it as early as possible. Waiting.....

What should I get Asus ZenFone 2 or XiaoMi Mi4i.I need premium feel,i don't play much games but i need a fast phone for web browsing,customizable ui and smooth,good display,at least 4+ hours of usage a day,loud speakers or maybe a little above average.Please answer ASAP!In advance thanks!

2.20.40.90, the latest update of ze551ml, i was able to pull off 5 hours screen on time on 13 hours of usage. No 3g or 4g.Just wifi. Used for youtube, browsing, gaming and music . If your device dont last as long as mine, then you got a defective ZF 2brother.
