Ive have been using ZENFONE 2 for about 3 months now. Mine is ze551ml 4gb 32 gb version. So far, No issues at all. In fact, my zenfone 2 is getting even better with the recent updates. My batteryvlife is getting better, every day i got a little more than 5 hours screen on time with 13- 16 hours of usage, my pattern is web browsing, youbtubelittle biT OF lag free HD games for 40 minutes each day, playing music, mobile network connected but use wifi for browsing. Call quality is decent. Signal reception is very good in city area, decent in suburban, but thats really depend on the service in your country. I live in Indonesia btw.. maybe some people got problems with zenfone 2 because they dont know what to expect from a smartphone. Im talking with my zenfone two in its prime condition. So far, my experience is perfectwith zenfone 2. If youbdont trust me, ill leave my email to you if you want to talk more about zenfone 2

Hi
I want to buy a good stable dual Sim phone around 20k which i can use for 2years.. While searching for that kind of a phone I got this phone asus zenfone 2 ze551ml..I was really very pleased with the specification of this phone and I rely Asus from my college days for its hardware. But many negative reviews around the way made me very confused about the phone.
1. It has very severe network related issues specifically for India market like Call drop often, phone becomes nonetwork if it is idle or while using wifi... some times it can not find the network..very much problem in low network zone..of ten the phone is not reachable when some 1 is calling and sometimes sms sending issues are also there.
2. sim1 sim2 problem..many are saying that they get this nosimcard sign often in either or both the sims while they are using a sim in both slots.
3. sound quality very low..
4. phone hangs a lot with many of the updates...and if it get hanged then there is no other way that to wait the phone to drain its battery becoz battery is not removable.
If this phone seriously have this network related issues then i will definately not buy this becoz I want a phone with real good network reception. everyday i have to go to village areas for my work and there signal is already low..
please let me know if you all are facing these issues..and if that is so then please suggest me some good phone which has really great signal reception..

It feels solid and (lol) its made of iron man's armor (titanium) so i dont think it will bend easily. While ive never hold an A8 before, i would think that'll be pretty solid, because samsung has a history of making a well built smartphone. I think they will not let you down this time.

And i heard 615 is petty easy to heat up. But again the diffrence is not to significant. Ive seen 615 used in my friend's Xiaomi mi4i. While playing game, 615 will reach 46 C while my ZF 2 stay at 42 maximum. But talking about power, 615 ia waay behind ZF 2's intel. 615 Is more power efficient though, because ZF 2 cpu cores cannot be stopped and will always clock at 500 mhz minimim . And that is one of the factor that makes A8 battery get 98 hours rating in gsm arena. But if you are a heavy gamer, you should definately choose ZF2. If you are a multimedia user, choose a8. But if you are looking a cheap phone with a formidable spec, choose ZF 2 or 1+2.

within in 3 months speaker will be gone ,customer service is also not good ,response is very slow of customer service they took 18 days to replace the speakers.

The Camera is very bad, battery is just about okay. You do need to carry the charger with you most of the times, specially if you are traveling. After using the phone for 2 months now. I cannot complain much except for the fact that the volume rockers being on the side makes more sense than on back, specially when on call and using a wired handsfree have to turn the phone around to increase or decrease the volume. Unlike my Samsung S3 from which I upgraded to this phone, I don't think I will use this phone for more than a year. I will move back to Samsung or some equivalent phone which had smart learn abilities, like on S3 most called numbers would be automatically marked as my favorite contacts. Calls I reject do no yet show in my call list as same as missed call which is the case on ZenUI. 13 MP is just for name sake, the noise level on a 8 MP of Samsung on a dark or low light is any day better even a picture in broad day light when zoomed on S3 is better than ZE551ML. Smart alert and using voice commands to control camera, Alarm, and many more are way more better feature to go for to choose over just upgrading on to a 4GB RAM, which I regret very dearly now.
For those who are planning to buy the phone from store goto any ASUS store there alone you can buy it, but buying it online you get a good price.
