i can't even play subway surfer for more than 15mins. :-(

I bought the 64GB ROM/4GB RAM version of this phone last week. Asus is manufacturing this phone unlocked and independent of any carrier. This is a huge benefit to consumers like me who does not want to pay thrice the amount of the phone's price to the carriers over a period of 2 years just to get it initially free.
Pros:
This is the first time I used Android 5.0 (Lollypop) which is significantly better than any of its predecessors. I came from the Kitkat (4.4) version and I found the OS is a great experience. And with 4 GB RAM and Quad Core processing speed, I found this phone to working like a Jet Plane (Superb ! ). This is, as of today, the only phone in the world with 4 GB RAM and I could see the difference of my experience. I was able to open 11 applications (out of them 2 games) at the same time and still could not find any lag. The battery is also very powerful 3000 mAH which is far better than any elite phone currently in the market. On top of that Asus has provided a bigger charging adaptor which charges 60% of my phone in 39 mins. However I needed to recharge the phone one every night for about 2 hours for a full charge (I am not a heavy gamer, I have to say that). This means I do not have to carry my power adapter with me throughout the day. Asus has provided some very good customized Asus App which I find is quite nice and useful (even though I do not like manufacturer provided software); not only that you can also delete most of those apps at your discretion if you do not like (but I like). Lollypop itself is such a powerful OS that I am not sure if I am excited to have the world's most powerful phone itself or a great OS which is far better than my Apple iOS experience.
Another good part of possessing this phone is that Asus is giving regular ROM updates which has addressed so many previous issues of the near past. They are very quick on to fix the issues as reported by their consumers.
Cons :
The battery becomes a bit hot most of the time while charging (understandable with the new super charging facility in 39 mins) and also with high CPU usage (while streaming videos or playing games). I guess Asus can work on this area in the near future with another ROM update.
My take on this phone - Overall my satisfaction level to own this phone is pretty high. I will give this phone 9 out of 10 marks. Hope my experience (after a week's usage) will help you in your decision.

Asus is trying TOO hard in my opinion.... They are rolling OTA update after OTA update and it is getting messy... Some update is actually making the device worse than before. But overall it's a good device and worth of money.

Why are you people got a lot of complaints on using zenfone 2. ?i've got zenfone 2 4gb version and there are no problems at all. The updates are continue for the improvement of the phone. All you have to do is to use it properly.!

Did u notice any problems at all before you pay the cp? It's either return w/in 7days, or have it repair....I hope that you'll be able to have that speaker repair...
