Cant wait for 5.1.1 for this phone. battery life and the already beastly performance will increase further with the update.

jay, 10 Jul 2015How is the audio of the phone when watching a video , playi... moreLoudspeaker is moderately good - volume level is above average but not superlative, clarity is also good but not super. this is standard for most phones, except maybe for the most expensive ones. can't give you any feedback about headphones. overall there is no issue with the sound. I have played some songs at 100% volume for 30 minutes in order to 'crack' the speakers, now all sounds are playing very well and with good clarity.

ASUS ZenFone2 is quite super phone.I am using past 3weeks .it works awesome and each and every feature pretty good.Nice technology,looking good,performance also too good..am giving 9/10...
but I having only one problem.My battery drain quickly.It's 300mAh battery,but it's working like 2000..I ask suggestion from asus customer care,they said change ur phone to RECOVERY MODE and they said few steps.but I can't believe this..is anyone done this above recovery methods.plz help me.how can I change and after changing,battery working conditions is better or same..

When video played in h/w mode and when fast forwarded video lags.....in s/w mode there is no problem.what to do?

If you use it for GPS, 3g/4G internet all the time and play heavy gaming and watch TV then it wont last 2 days. In fact none of the samrt phones exist in todays world right now can do that, let along this Ausu Zenpghone 2. But If you use it for only basic functions like calling, text messaging, calender, calculator, etc. It can last 2 days. So dont say others are lias while you are not using it teh same ways as others use.

Guys, there is no option to encrypt the external micro sd card on Zenfone 2, but internal memory can be encrypted. This makes all the more sense to get 64GB version of the Zenfone 2. Pleanty of space for your sensitive files :)

AB, 09 Jul 20151 thing i confuse about update, direct update the last vres... moreIf you have never updated your Zenfone 2 before, then download the full firmware - it will contain all the smaller updates released so far.
Once you have updated the large firmware, after that later you can install the smaller updates aka OTA (over the air) as and when they are available, wirelessly through phone, or by PC.

Babu, 09 Jul 2015How to update this phone??Since I have done it, I can show you how to update or install firmware on Zenfone 2: 1.) Visit the official support page Asus Zenfone 2 https://www.asus.com/in/Phones/ZenFone_2_ZE551ML/HelpDesk_Knowledge/ 2.) Go to "Drivers and Tools Section" select Android OS. 3.) Browse to Firmware section. Read the header carefully, WW is for Worldwide (including India), JP is for Japan, CN is for China and so on. 4.) If you want to install WW firmware, check out the latest WW version (which is "WW_2.19.40.22" at the time of writing). 5.) Download the ZIP file (1.1 GB) and save it on your PC. 6.) It is easy to install the ZIP file in your phone. Check this Support FAQ section from Asus: https://www.asus.com/in/support/FAQ/1009748/ Use the manual update button. 7.) Carefully note that to copy the ZIP files from PC into your phone, you need to install (a.) Intel and (b.) Asus USB Drivers. Only then windows will "see" your phone. To know how to install drivers, you can visit XDA developers site. Also, you must enable "USB Debugging" on your phone. This is easy, you can Google it. 8.) After installing the ZIP firmware, remember to delete the ZIP file from your phone's memory. You now have the latest firmware installed in your phone. Cheers and enjoy.

AnonD-414518, 09 Jul 2015who says zf2 battery lasts for 5 hours? mine lasts for 2... moreJust try.......when you travelling....use gps for maps [google map,sygic or any other maps] with high accuracy mode with full time screen on & with 3g internet......I am sure you didn't get bactery backup more than 4 hours......... uses only for calling, you will get 2 days.... dor that purpose why you buy this mobile ?.....nokia 1100 is enough....

Zifnab, 08 Jul 2015"I had Asus zenfone 2 4gb ram 2.3ghz 64gb version and ... moreI agree with Zifnab. once upon a time intel processors consumed too much power while ARM chips used up less power. now the tables have turned. it is the new ARM/Snapdragon chips which are getting hotter (less battery life), while intel chips with x86 architecture are providing great clock speeds but with much reduced power consumption and higher battery life. asus has made the right choice in putting intel chips in this zenfone. superb performer. period.
