I ended up buying Xiaomi Mi Pad than this :) ... Since I am after battery, gaming and mostly browsing..

I have no such problems. I recommend you to wipe cache partition than charge your phone from 0% to full while the phone is off.

flipkart & asus cheated me
flipkart gives a fake replacement/refund policy
back camera - back cam is average & noisy - ( dont zoom in image )
front cam - worst - cheap phones gives 5x better images than this
plastic burning smell - ( cheap smell from headphone jacket side )
battery - worst ( gives maximum 5 hrs in medium usage )
no internet in second sim - only 2g calling
sunlight screen visibility - not great
ram - ( am used 4gb version shows only 1 gb free , in usage 500 mb )
heating - overheating in charging , app usage , starting time ( nearly 50 degree )
flipkart - am requested a replacement , they want to install a crappy app & real job of flipkart executive is dening customers replacement request .. they wasted my time and money
asus - they cheated me pixelmaster blah blah ....

shadytree, 03 Jul 2015I just bought the phone yesterday and there is a problem wi... moresee man that may be concern of defective device u got please go asus service centre as soon as possible coz u can replace it as my zf 2 camera has a defect n i ve lodged a complaint with flipkart n they ve accepted my replacement request so irequest u to make it fast before it gets too late thanks to my 6sense n my luck dude!!......

Chand uz, 03 Jul 2015Itz primary camera is Good if we dont zoom itsee yaar i agree with u but we 've bought with an average camera quality which it fails even some low priced models too deliver better cam qlty i ve asus zf2 ze551ml n i ve raised return request to flipkart n they are relacing it by 10 july so i too dont recommend to buy dis fone when i was at service anither 2 customers came reg d zf2 n zf6 problem reltd to cam n screen jumping issue

Amit , 03 Jul 2015Go for mi4 or oneplus one.. Better Than zenfone 2.... If looking for longer lasting battery then I suggest go for 1+1 or Mi4 but if you have inclination towards Dual Sim (though one of them is 2G) then go for Asus Zenfone2
alternatively if you are looking for Dual Sim phone with better battery look towards Mi4i, i admit that that memory is a problem, but you can get OTG Memory card adapter like Strontium with 32 GB memory card, that will sort the limited memory issues, also admit that having an external memory adapter will be odd, but it is OK for those who live not much dependency on memory (and use it only as backup!!!)
I am not suggesting others as others come with lesser battery, if you are OK with lesser battery then you may be OK with many other things as well.

version 2.18. New software Version 2.19 is on its way now.

Plz don't buy asus ZenFone 2 seriously poor cam clarity 13MP very poor .heating when talking n charging, browsing. I am going to return my phone to flipkart

M using ze551ml 64 gb nd 4 gb variant since 1month nd m nt having any issues except bit heating of the phone..otherwise its an excellent phone in all the specs nd value for money too... nice work ASUS :-)

I just bought the phone yesterday and there is a problem with the battery calibration or something. The phone shuts off completely at 37% battery. it wont turn back on unless you charge it for at least 10 mins.
and when it does turn back on, it starts from 37% upwards. Asus better give some OTA update

I ordered Asus Zenfone 2 551ML 2gb variant and it does have headphones inside the box...why is it that yours, do not have?
