As long as it is not AMOLED, then it would be IPS LCD. (albeit there is some early model using low quality TFT LCD).
The screen of Zenfone 2 is of middle quality. Not as vibrant and bright as other model (just 70% bright compare to other high end model max brightness). But it is still usable.

but i just hope that they will change the bottom front design

i did ny get memory card
the screen is really clear
the sound is clear too
the treble of the voice is better than my bb z3
maybe it s bcoz of the difference in price
almost doubling it
can t wait to use bbm n try lolipop but the internet is nt working
waiting for the operator to send the instructions n steps via email
but i wonder why my phone crwdit got deducted a few days ago when i can t even open the internet

actually it s good bcoz the light behind those capacitive keys will die off in years to come
but i have a little difficulty on its position especially when it s dark
i wonder why when im making phone calls and want to check the screen at the same time
this could nt be done
so it means that im unable to check the seconds or go to other menu
oh man
kind of piss me off
does this thing goes for all those who possess this phone
i strongly believe it does nt
is there any more curious guy who s kind enough to ome with an answer to this question

In asus flip cover any of headset cant be plugged in . Is it happening on all asus flip covers . Is there any solution friends for that or if it is suitable for asus zen ear only

confirm, 19 Jun 2015are you sure bro that the capacitive keys are only reflecti... moreOther phones, by default has a light on those keys. Just that in zenfone 2, it does not lit up but asus used a reflective sticker or something for that.. Dunno why asus done this...

This phone targeting low- mid range mobile user and the display ergonomics are not so attractive live samsung and sony mobiles.

The higher class is the ZE551ML and the economic model is the ZE500CL. Personnally, I got the ZE551ML with the Z3560 variant and it's perfect for me. So, just check what is the best for you depending of your budget.

after one week of use...i m satisfied with the performance. i was in doubt about camera quality after reading comments.....but aaus update the software....now its. good...batery is good...and the interface is v. good......u will love this phone. and asus is more serious than us..for their products....go for zenphone 2
