This phone is good but I cannot recommend it for everyone because of many things.
1. ASUS never release an official FOTA Marshmallow update for zenfone 2 ze551ml. They did release an downloadable update but not entirely stable and I read many users regret updating because plenty of bugs.
2. At some point when I updated the firmware, SIM 2 slot has been malfunctioning ever since. Even there's sim inserted sometimes it cannot detect the sim so i had to restart the phone in order to detect it. But it happens frequently so I gave up using Sim 2 slot.
3. Battery drains so quickly. Even in standby mode the phone hardly last a day.
ASUS promised to release official Android marshmallow update FOTA but never happened. Asus Zenfone 2 ze551ml will be the last Asus phone i will ever purchase and stick to phone brands that continue to support their previous phones with updates.

Most of the ghost touch problems came from over heating ( using the fastcharger while playing games or heavy tasks ) can replace the lcd, costs only 30usd -ish. In my exp, the original 9V fast charger works damn good, but dont even think to do some heavy task with your phone while at it, esp* watching hi-res youtube video streaming. It is better to charge with a standard 2 Amps charger, cooler and perhaps only 30 mins slower.

AnonD-439963, 30 Dec 2016Still waiting for marshmallow updates...Dont update to marshmallow. Or do update, and find the reverse update to lollipop. Marshmallow will mess with your battery life.

Had ghost touch issues within the first six months. While it was resolved in 3 weeks (I thought that was good enough for me considering I was promised that it can take more than 1 month), I am now experiencing loose socket issue on its 3.5 mm jack. Still 3 months before my warranty expires. I like the overall package even more than the current Zenfone 3 lineup (decent, if somewhat incompatible at times processor, adequate amount of RAM, decent storage space and highly competitive price) but I am sort of disappointed with the durability side. Waiting for the upcoming Nokia outings and hoping their new phones will be built like tanks.
