Once you feel the vibration let go of the power button only. Once you get into boot, release the volume button. Than use volume button to scroll to recovery mode and select using power button. It will show an error message. Hold both power and volume up to go to recovery mode. once there, you select 'wipe cache partition' and wait for 10 to 20 minutes. Reboot. Done.

prabad, 25 May 2015I can't change my default video player to any other player ... moresince you already own it can you please tell me if it supports MHL or not? I'm thinking of buying it but i need to be sure of that first. Asus support said it dose but she wasn't very confident about it, so please help me out here. Thanks in advance.

i guess the battery life on the phones of the resolution 720p , battery life lasts longer ,... and please let me know (anyone) ... if its true that battery life also depends upon the resolution of the screen ... if its the case ... then most of em' could prefer to purchase the 720p variant of asus zenfone 2 ... !

i bought my asus ze551ml 32gb internal/4gb ram/red colour...what i can say is this phone is great..but i have problem to access my boot menu..other than that everything went smooth. As for the battery,its normal for any smartphone to have this problem with heavy usage such as gaming n surfing continuosly...

I dont know how to do a recovery boot nor do I want to screw the phone.
Take this fone back and give me a refund.
It says camera has stopped responding.
Asus launcher has stopped responding.
Hangs the phone in a while.
What good is it.
The camera is not good,battery, no 3G connectivity speed.phone heats up as
if its gonna blow.
I put few drops of water on the back pannel and water drops get evaporated
quickly. I dont want to be get killed by this phone. Free Ram is now 1gb
only sometimes 2gb..

I have zenfone 2 2gb model, my experience is not really good with this phone, camera quality is really bad and another problem is ram, i did not even installed much app just installed whatsapp, fb, and we chat that's it and the Ram showing always 80%-90% full, cc cleaner is not helping much boosting phone and deleting all junk file regularly but not working and it got restart whenever it got full with RAM memory, anyone can suggest any solution, it just 4 das old phone and facing these problems not HAppy With This Zenfone 2 Really Upset after spending 15000 for this phone

Zenfone 2 quality is complete b***s**t. The spec is good, where overheating, slow charging, weak wifi, weak call quality, inaccurate screen colour are never mentioned. Thumbs down for Asus. An advice for phone reviewer, please mention wifi quality, average heat, charging speed, call quality and screen colour accuracy in spec sheet, not just those pointless screen resolution, processor clock speed, battery capacity and supported wifi and network channel.

worse phone with such a high configuration. Has heating issues and also battery doesn't long for more than 20 hours even without usage. Though the specifications shows 3000mah battery.
