What I was saying is that the test was carried out in a way that there are too many aleatory variables... it's not reproduceable and not comparable... so its value as a scientific test is zero.
Again it was still OK since it showed/proved that the ROM is not yet ripen on this model, because there are a few bugs (GMAIL fced once and showed a funny behaviour staying awake all the time, and keeping one of the cores of the CPU running for 9 hours+).

Battery backup is very good for the ZenFone 2 551ML 2.3GHz & 4GB RAM version...!
Here is the video which shows the battery life while playing heavy game Mortal Combat 5 with full brightness and WiFi on...and the phone lasted for 3 and half hour with heavy gaming...!

I understand why that would be the battery life would be hideous. is there any phone out there that support LTE on both of Sims at the same time?

I play games regularly, if phone SOT is less than two hours it is pretty much useless. Currently I use xperia sp, which gives 3 hours of SOT

The "test" carried out in that italian blog was not in the least bit scientific... it had its reason d'etre for showing us the wakelocks bug, but don't take it to a face value.
I will wait for GSM arena's battery test that's very standardized, consistent and allows comparison amongst different devices.
(so please hurry up)

My phone has NO, repeat, NO battery issue. I did not have one before the update and I do not have one now. This is NOT A ZENFONE 5 so get over it. I get at least a day and a half with my 551 which has the 1.8Ghz processor, HD screen and 2Gb of RAM. I cannot however speak for the larger 2.3 version with 4 gigs of ram but it would be foolish to believe it is as efficient as mine. The memory issue is really a non issue too. When google gets around to fixing that, it will be fine. Until then, just restart the phone once in a while or use the included Clean Sweep to recover cached memory. The only mistake you people could make is not buying this phone if it has the specs you need.
