In CPU benchmarks it will be around 25% faster, but will perform similarly in GPU benchmarks. In real life usage you won't notice much difference in performance but battery life will be considerably reduced. I think 1.8 GHz with 2GB is a good pair.

When ASUS declared official prices at CES...it was without tax...and so as i said above...every country will have different prices...!

ASUS....
please release zenfone 2 quickly in India and start sales in April only
and keep the price like in taiwan....don't increase the price as it will hamper your sales in India
and release every variant in India like in China so that every segment of buyers can purchase it.

I'll settle for 1.8, but i prefer 2.3 with the lower ram. Oh well.

ASUS Zenfone 2 sales team is slower than a land turtle getting its so called flagship killer phone to worldwide market.
You have less than six months from 2015 Q1-Q2 to get this out to us worldwide. You should of set foot in all continents and even Antarctica where even the polar bears and penguins areas still waiting for the underdog flagship killer.
Otherwise you lose ASUS. Once again please step aside to the Flagship Kings Apple Samsung LG Sony.
That's where your potential customers will go yet again. Cause they don't play around with target date potential profits.
Bunch of marketing worry warts have already validated this product, so get on the stick shift and hit 7 gear and start shipping more out online globally.

So why is it almost 35 % more expensive? When they said '200$' i knew that in just couldn't be the top of the line model but at least the new entry-level model, because we all know that the ze550cl or whatever is the old zenfone 5 with new of.
