That's wrong, ZE551ML has no 2Gb version of ram. The 2GB of ram version is ZE550ML with an Intel Atom Z3560. You need to fix this. There is absolutely no Full HD version with 2GB of ram ... Only for the 4GB ...

I've decided NOT to by the Zenfone 2. Why? Because of Asus marketing practices. All the official promotional images of the phones show MUCH thinner side bezels than actually exists on the phone. I email Asus about this and never got a response, even though I got an email saying I wold get a response within 24 hours. I don't like when a company tries to fool potential customers by photo-shopping pictures to product look more appealing.

If you convert the euro to the dollar at the current exchange rate the price for the entry level Asus Zenfone 2 is $213.00. On my opinion, still a good deal, but not a great deal.

Asus i afraid of bad publicity. They do not market their phones in very tuff crowded countries like germany, skandinavia, uk etc.
The reason why they release it first in france or italy depending which comes first its because of acer!
Where is Acer there is Asus. And in France Acer's presence is big. But thats not strange at all coming from country where everything is strange. Sagem anybody? Couple of years ago you could not buy Acer phone in europe that didnt come from France. Now its different. But thata why Asus is releasing it in France.

BORDI21 talking nosense and false information.This is prices on offical Asus webshop in France and Italy.
1.
ZE500CL 5inch,720x1280, quad core 1.6ghz,2gb ram DDR 2,16 gb-199 euro
2.ZE550ML,5.5inch 720x1280,quad core 1.8ghz,2gb ram DDR 3,16 gb-249 euro
3.ZE551ML 5.5 inch,full HD,2.3ghz,4gb ram DDR3,32 gb -299 euro.
Dollar and euro are near same value and when convert price difference is around 10 dollars/euro.
So what u expect when asus told that starting price is 200,you expected best model ZE551ML for 200?What then with ZE500CL, for 100 or maybe for free? Hahahaha.
Everything looking great,maybe only thing that i belive can be better in this 3 options is that they put full HD screen on ZE550ML ,not 1280x720.
But Zenfone is defintely BESTBUY at this time.Maybe in next few months other company launch better option but right now is bestbuy.
Memory of 16 and 32 gb are enough because there is SD card,example on direct rivals of Zenfone, Xiaomi Mi4 and Oneplus one there is no SD card slot,and then you must buy 64 gb versions,and they costing Oneplus 64 gb 350 dollars-euro,and Xiaomi Mi4 is expensive 469 dollars-euro,169 more than Zenfone.So thats one thing that making zenfone bestbuy.
Also i must say Xiaomi is phone that u must root and flash and factory software is only chinese and english and theres always few problems after root,and also there is small percent of buyers who want lose time on doing that.With Oneplus is same problem,couse they go off from Cyanogen and making own softver and nobody knows what to expect.So Zenfone is in that aspect is bestbuy also,because it have great rom zenUI that is looking great,it is multi language,reciving OTA update,software is stable.
There is full review on net of version 1.8,1280x720,and battery is great,signal and all things grea,no heating problems.But for 2.3 full Hd version we must wait review and see how good is battery on full HD version going to be.
Also three important things that i want see on review is this:1.SPEAKER how loud is it?I hate on modern phones that ringing sound is offten low.When i remember Nokia 3310 i often heard ringing on other side of house with 3 dors closed,on this modern phone i cant hear ringing when standing in front room 1 door closed. :-)
2.Is there heating problem on 2.3 version?That is also important.
I hope soon gsm arena will have full review and help as buyers to decide is it really this phone soo good.

hello Asus... first of all thanks for your zenfone 2.. really awesome specs for a decent price. i am waiting for it since January ces2015. when u will release it in India. first gsmarena told April 13,now so many websites writing April last week(date not confirmed). so many people's in India waiting for it.. and how many variants will be release. please reply me. thanks in advance... love u asus
