I really want to buy zenfone 2, but when i read that it is going to be priced higher instead of the originally announced $200 im now opting to Android One!!!!

The phone isn't meant to absolutely defeat those two through speedy release, because at the end most people will opt for the cheaper device anyway. Hopefully Asus gives more clarification before March's end since I heard that it was starting releases by then in Taiwan and such.

And htc and samsung will be available at the end of march. But if not if its Asus then i dont have understanding. Remember Motorola g and x! Asus doesnt realize that this phone would make them bigger then now and Intel also

Any idea about the final price in INDIA of zf2 with 2GB RAM 16GB? Hope there's no other difference between the higher RAM or storage specs.
Some say it'll be $199 some say $299 !

Punisher, 03 Mar 2015Asus is making a big misstake not releasing it globaly in m... moreIt's not so big a mistake if you take into account that when it comes to Mobile, asus doesn't have as much market influence and popularity as the mainstream brands. Also, they may have their own reasons for taking such a while to releasing the ZF2 to the market, aside from how great a deal it offers.
I know it's a pain to wait for, but with how much they keep advertising it's amazing package some people want to try doing so to see if it was worth it. Else, look for other similar options since there are many this year. :)

Asus is making a big misstake not releasing it globaly in march. I cant even believe that you can preorder htc m9 and Samsung S6 right now.

waiting for ages. Asus made a big blunder by delaying the launch of this Zenfone 2. Now my focus is shifted towards other handsets , cant waiting for long now. We are not dumb to wait for its release. Hope Asus will release it by march 2016 LOL.
Asus marketing strategy is 2/10.
