I don't said that! I said that ASUS ZenFone 2 will release in India as 3G-variant only. They will use any MediaTek chipset which do not have 4G capability!
There will be 3G-variant of the device only for India and some other countries.

Everyone knows MediaTek has 4G support but not on every chipset, they are going to use non-4G chipset for Indians and nearby countries.

OK so in orter words release date for phone is 9 march in Taiwan. Exactly at MWC. And give or take on month from date it will be global. Expecting this device in my hands 25 of April. Good :)

Ok so this is what I understand so far. There will be a 5.5 inch Zenfone 2 (with variants of 2/4GB RAM) and a lower end 5 inch Zenfone 2 (little is known). Then there's also the Intel/Qualcomm/Mediatek fiasco. But different sources are saying different things. What I'd really love to know is the $199 price for the 5 or 5.5 inch because this is a real deal breaker here?

Disappointed with Asus strategy. They have confused everyone first with different Processors(Mediatek,SD,Intel) now with 5 inch screen 200$ phone.
So with 200$ we will get inferior 5'inch ,720p display, without 4G Lte support device.
If this is the case then Asus please sell you device somewhere else because i'm not interested.
Do not buy zenfone 2.
Instead i am considering galaxy grand Max.

Peoples from India and Pakistan, don't buy ASUS ZenFone 2 in anyway. We are not going to get Intel based or Snapdragon variant of this device and they are putting a shitty MediaTek chipset which will not even have 4G capability. We need to show them that we are not fools and take there sells down as hell.!

Well, it just turned out that the 199$ version of this was the 5" model, and it only has a single toned flash. So this 5'5 thing will be more expensive (but maybe just quite a bit).
I'm so disappointed . Ugh!

5.2 inch would have been better to handle. Anyway i'm eagerly waiting for this.
