this phone was great! performance amazing, battery good average, camera well ok not good enough, screen great, for the price it surely satisfying. love yhis phone.

Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML 4gb/32GB
I thought this was an awesome phone for a month, then I started having issues.
Now I have had a dead phone paid 350$ sitting on my shelf for almost a year.
Mainly it had random weird battery issues, wouldn't charge, would indicate it was fully charged but would not turn on and when I unplugged it it would go from 100% to 0% in a second, among many other things. I contacted, on multiple occasions, Asus support center and the helpline people were rude, condescending when not down right insulting, they lied to me when they said I couldn't get a refund 3 months after I received the phone. I sent it to the repair center who ripped my back cover and sent it back after reinitializing the device even though I already told them a reinitialization would fix the issues for approximately three weeks. After a lot of back and forth I have a dead phone I paid 350 $ for. Asus is Pure theft when you have issues with their products. And when you send back your product you have to describe the issue within 150 characters. No wonder it doesn't work. Asus sucks on tech support.

Some of our friends are complaining about the power back-up...like all other mobiles ASUS ZE2 have same back up time...i have used Samsung galaxy phones and Nokia Lumia phones..all these phones have same back-up time that of ASUS ZE2..and about performance ZE2 is far better than Samsung midrange phones

since am using this mobile from 1 year back, i dont no y this mobile is getting very heat and even it start operating automatically!! i get irretated and i wl switch off for sumtimes and then restart my mobile?

I have had the Zenfone 2 for exactly a year now, i was impressed at what i got for the low price of this phone but in the past 6 months, the phone has started to show its true value, it has been a phone hard to work with, with many issues such as lag on the lock screen, home screen, crashing with apps such as facebook messenger, the dis functioning home button, and the inability to have a stable home wifi connection, aside of those essential things, it is a good phone but the negatives weigh out the positives, also the camera is awful for the 12/13mp it says to have,

Such as living in the US and being sent an international version. Just a thought. I live in the US and have not trouble running 4G with T-Mobile.

The ZenFone 2 ZE551ML has been an excellent phone for me since I purchased it in early June, 2015. I will begin by making mention of the only 2 items that I have encountered in which I would consider both of them as a minimal inconvenience: 1) the very first concern I found was that my brand new SanDisk Extreme 32GB SD card, of which I purchased for my new phone at the same time I purchased the phone, would consistently cause me to get the "SD Card removed" error and would read the card again by itself just a few moments later. I decided to order a different brand of card and ended up getting a Lexar 633x 64GB card and have not had one error since then. 2) when playing back videos created on my phone or movies I have to use MX Player because with the installed player, the screen goes black just after you quit touching the screen and will not appear again until you touch the screen again. I did end up finding a resolution to that as well, however, which is to lower or raise the screen size to anything except 100% and it will play flawlessly. I usually choose 99%. This concept does not happen when viewing videos in a browser. Besides those two concerns, this phone is everything it is intended to be which is a mid range phone at a very decent price that will deliver adequate performance to play any game you desire while not breaking the bank. Of course it isn't going to compete with current flagship running Snapdragon 820 but for what it was intended to be I have not yet been disappointed in any way. I really enjoy this phone.

Excellent mobile for its price
I got for 18,000 Rupees(INR) on flipkart, the highest spec one
Except on few occasions very very occasionally battery drains quickly than usual.
Excellent camera, Excellent processor and Internet Connectivity Simply Awesome for its price

Last year 2015 , I have bought Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML ( GB+1.8Ghz) which was an amazing superb performance smartphone as comparable to others competirive smartphones till to date . Not only that it gives a superb pleasure to carry in our hand due to its elegance look & shinning metal corning glass but also it gives a real examining performance to its game feature as its works upon Intel chipset & ZenZUI ( varies to 1.8 Ghz to 2.3 Ghz ) . It can also 4K videos as its screen resolution comes with 1080x1920 with 403.2ppi . It gives a brilliant look on its camera which comes with 13MP rear & 5MP front as well as Auto Focus Option is available and video recording smiles with FULL HD ( i.e. 1080x1920) . Battery backup is also good (3000mAh) and it also provides with various modes of saving (PERFORMANCE MODE-specially for gaming and online videos , NORMAL MODE , POWER SAVING MODE , SUPER SAVING & CUSTOMIZED )
As being a User , I am happy and glad to have my best one ASUS .

Shoukat , 06 Apr 20164 to 5 hours continuous using 4 to 5 hours? My battery life is 1-2 days depending on my usage (browser, web apps and some little games). I used 2 sim cards... When I leave the morning (8 a.m.) and come back to my home the evening (6 p.m.), my battery indicates 70-80%.
