I have this phone now (4GB) and here are my thoughts:
I read a lot of comments about the shitty battery... so when I got it and charged it....it drained really fast. I was pissed off. Then I charged it again before I went to sleep and I put it on super saving and in the morning I had 50%. I was even more pissed off... but then...I got rid of all the stupid apps that I dont need, used the auto manager so some apps that I dont need would not start when I turn on the phone, did the updates and charged it again. I put it on super saving and I went to sleep with a 100%. When I woke up and it was...wtf?!! 100%. Yesss. During the day I have it on Normal. I watch some videos, browse, viber and I easily get throght the day. Ofc if you play games for 4 hours straight its gonna shut off. Luckily I dont have that problem. Some people complained about the brightness: WTF?!!..If I put it on max it fu*king hurts my eyes. I keep it around 60%. I also heard that the speaker sucks...Cant complain. Its pretty damn loud n clean. Overall: This phone is fu*king amazing. The display is so dope and with great colors. Videos are HD and a very Fast and responsive system. Asus just put a lot of shit on the phone that draines the battery. Go to youtube. People show you how to get rid of it. My rating 9/10

Dont buy this dabba phone. battery is worst, charging takes 8 to 12 hours, battery drains even when the phone is idle. cannot take call. frequently hangs even after servicing.

Bought the phone. Found it doesn't support VOLTE. Such a waste of money.

Yes, the specs are so good and the price is affordable but you're so lucky if you're using this phone in 1 year without any problem on the hardware parts. I bought my phone 8 months ago and I go to the service center twice because of the mainboard and speaker problem. It takes a lot of time to repair the broken parts. My phone takes about almost 2 months to release. On their service center, I saw a lot of ASUS ZENFONE 2 waiting for their parts.
