It's not the RAM that consumes the power, it's the poorly coded or frequently data fetching applications that are left in the memory. That's why companies opt for a more aggressive memory management, killing Apps from the memory even tho there's still plenty of RAM to spare.

nice phone but now that the note 7 is out no ones gonna bother looking for this phone. announced months ago but i bet the note 7 will reach markets earlier than this ever will

This phone has great specs but is taking so long to release. Three months so far after being announced aND still waiting. What's the deal ASUS?!?! How long do we have to wait???

More RAM means more power.
More power means more battery consumption.
if Battery management is not that good 3k mAh will not be enough.
Else it will just drain the battery faster.
Maybe,.. just maybe that's why this Samsung Note 7 just stick to 4gb of RAM.

Ofcourse there is always a problem on a gadget, there is no perfect phone duhh!!!
but the thing is, this unit had a massive specs with a cheaper price than Samsung and LG and Sony...
I am using my Zenfone 2 4GB Ram, and only problem was the temp of the phone while charging, but actually , it is not a problem at all because that is normal. Ok?!!! The next one was the System Update, till now, no MM...

From what I have found, the ZenFone 3 Deluxe will most likely be shipped from 2nd September 2016.
