Those of us with thier flagship Zenfone 2 were told we were getting an update from Android 5.0..... and it turned out to be a LIE... they NEVER provided an over the air update to that flagship phone.. so I have had it for 18 months and am STUCK on Android 5.0..... and it's not that our phone can't do the update... there are versions out there that even provide Android 7.0 for the Zenfone 2, but you must use those third parties to install. I won't touch the Zenfone 3 unless it ships with Android 7... because if they follow past performance you may be stuck with the version they shipped it with.

You can't say that Intel processor is power hungry. I've been used it almost 7 months and the battery still good. My phone can last for 6h when I'm playing NFS MW and it's working smoothly. But little laggy when my battery below 15prcent. It depends on how you use the phone. Please try before you say anything.

You also must see what type processors and gpu its used. Zenfone 2 4GB ram is not high end spec or 'BEAST' smartphone you know. Its also not the flagship. When Zenfone 2 4GB came out, many others brand phone already used Intel Atom Zxxx series. Intel Atom Zxxx series not the powerfull processor for smartphone. Its also power hungry. At its came out, theres was many flagship brands powerfull out there better than Zenfone 2. Samsung S4 came out on the market was a flagship at that time back in 2013. Its used Exynos 5410 Octa for I9500, Snapdragon 600 for I9505 and Snapdragon 800 for I9506 LTE-A version. Its only 2GB. So, please dont think higher ram was better for gaming. Higher ram = better multitasking and others job, process & services. Zenfone 3 deluxe was differents. Its was created for gaming, multitasking and others job, process & services. Look at the processor and gpu. Its high end processor and gpu. Its have 2 model. First one Snapdragon 820 and second one was overclock from Snapdragon 820 became Snapdragon 821. So please try it first before you comments.

misc, 17 Jan 2017Beware of asus 'high spec' turns out to be lack of optimiza... moreIt is true dear.i also used a Asus device Zenphone2 ZE551ML.it is just an OK device with a 4GB ram.Antutu is worst.it scored only 47000 with awesome specs.comparable to my another device Lenovoa7000 upto 45000 in AnTuTu.

Beware of asus 'high spec' turns out to be lack of optimization on their device. I already experienced it with their previous flagship phone zenfone 2, no hope for asus.
Just remember that HIGH SPEC is NOT always guaranteed to be BETTER than another phone with lower spec.
Changed my phone to one of the biggest smartphone brand and i'm happy with it, not going back to asus anymore.
I'm here not trying to be skeptic about asus product or anything, just to warn all of you out there who attracted to this phone because of the 'BEAST' spec, maybe you can compare the performance first to others brand flagship phone before you buy it.
Nonetheless, if you like this phone then good for you, I just don't want to be lied with it's 'BEAST' spec that turns out it's much worse than other flagship phone, sounds stupid.
My comment on zenfone 2 :
-4 gb ram? feels like 2 gb ram, not as great as i expected. i expect the same with zen 3, waste of big ram, my new phone with 3 gb ram is far superior than this.
-playing multi games with friend who is using galaxy s4, i'm lagging and my friend isn't, in fact my friend playing smoothly, ??????? at first i thought it was the problem with the internet but that is not the case
-maybe there's something wrong with intel proc so the phone is not really optimized, not really sure
-overall, zen 2 is a good phone it's just the performance doesn't really reflect on the 'BEAST' spec that is the selling point of this phone, really low expectation

I currently have the 256GB special edition and I'm happy with this phone. I just wish Asus would hurry and OTA the Nougat update already. I check every day and nothing. One of my co workers has a One Plus 3T at work and he has Nougat already. Only downside to owning a beastly phone like this is that Asus seems to take it's time with updates. They'll release firmware updates to improve stability of the phone but, they won't release software updates in a timely manner. Besides the software updates this is a solid phone.

Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL is a top flagship phone and it's been out for a while, I wonder why the staff hasn't been able to review this particular smartphone? I'm really looking forward to a review of this phone as I'm really interested, anyone please?

I have the Z.3.D.S.E/256
Although I'm not into all the social stuff that S.phones can do today, I'm very happy with the phone stats. and the overall performance of this gear. The fast charging is great. Love the available space plus the Sd card slot. The latest update seems to up the signal reception and I'm running on the uncarrier in cal. Can't wait to see what else is improved with next update.
I feel lucky and rewarded after all that saving up I did for this purshace.

My dearest people whom requested me the factwritin.I depends to GSMArena dare and guts to release the factual comments because Asus is very powerful and influential!!!O.K.My comment is about the 256 gigs and $1400+ version!?I think Asus has forgotten Multi -touch up to 10 fingers- No upgrade to android nought- SD 820 and 820 both good chipsets-Gpu quad cores-Wifi no dual and no DLNA-Bluetooth lacks apx-true screen size -Usb not V.3 and otg-battery not 4000 mah-for this overpriced features are excellent-true screen size for users-QHD no-using hybrid without a dedicated memory slot!!!!I am sure they have forgotten to be written down though. All is good except 4 battey. It continuously drains even on standby mode. Ive closed all battery consuming apps and d result is still d same. I think the battery of ASUS 4 dis model w/ AMOled screen, 6GB ram, 4G signal is not good at all compare 2 that of samsung

stranger, 21 Dec 2016asus zenfone 3 deluxe or huawei mate 9 pro??I am doing decision too, i decide ASUS zenfone 3 deluxe with 6GB ram & 64GB. this much more cheaper than huawei mate 9 pro and the spec is almost close between these 2 phone.
