Anonymous, 01 Mar 2017update firmwareThe main problem with Asus' phones is that there are no timely firmware updates. The last security patch was lunched on august 2016, the firmware in my European version is almost 5 months old. Also, there are many firmware bugs that Asus' engineers are not able to fix. I hope that Asus will be able to work harder to bring more quality to their zenfone products.

To make videos with the front camera you need to put on mode automatic, cause normally it comes on mode embellishment

However, Asus literally doesn't update their phones and it takes months to fix simple firmware bugs. So if you don't end up with defected phone please stay away from Asus' phones until they start to respect their customers and provide timely updates for their products.

I have bought a new set if zenfone 3 max 5.2 inches. It was good but later did i find out that it has no a FRONT CAM video setting. Am i the only one experiencing this. Pls help

I recently bought this unit and everything was fine when I tested it at the store. I just realized that after taking pictures or videos, it gets saved in gallery however after a couple of hours, they become unavailable (cannot be viewed but have stop icons on their thumbnails) or sometimes they get lost. When I change Camera Save location to phone memory it's working fine. Does anyone have the same issue as mine? Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
