And I don't know where to write to complain about.

TJ, 26 Oct 2016Does this phone work with AT&T's 4G LTE in the United States? No ZU680KL model won't work with ATT because it doesn't sport B2 nor B4 LTE Bands, get a 4g huawei router to get around this problem.

TJ, 26 Oct 2016Does this phone work with AT&T's 4G LTE in the United States? This particular model ZU680KL ( ultra) doesn't have LTE band 2 nor band 4 reception, it has almost all the other ones, ATT uses band 2, the only thing you can do, is look for other company, if they don't know what you are talking about, just borrow a SIM card, slide it in and check if your LTE does work. I have the same problem in Mexico, I think a way around this would be to get a Huawei hotspot and have it in your other pocket it'll receive 4g and feed your phone at high speed via WiFi.

AnonD-606854, 03 Dec 2016Scroll this forum and numbered links for my other shoutings... moreThank for your reply Captain. I checked the E Global and there seems to be really bad reviews. Are they genuine or fake from competitors? I am currently using a lumia 1520 so size is not a problem its actually why I chose this instead of the Zenfone 3 deluxe. Also you know of any other sites where I can purchase for uk which are legit?
Thanks again Captain

Mine is only quick charging with the supplied adapter. Using an Aukey QC 3 charger, it only shows "charging". Anyone have the same experience?

I am currently using a Lumia 1520 ans have had it since it was released in 2014. It has a 6 inch screen and now that I've seen the ZF3U I know that what I want. Also I've read some reviews of Eglobal Central and most of them are not good. So do you still advise yo buy from Eglobal or do you know if any other suppliers for this phone which can ship to UK?
Thanks again Captain

Scroll this forum and numbered links for my other shoutings from rooftops about the ZF3U. :))
For UK folk looking for the ZF3U to purchase, I got it at eglobal central (google it). Last time I checked it can be delivered by insured delivery for £458 after the standard coupon discount they offer (of about £5). Watch out for Xmas rush and postal problems. Avoid buying without insured delivery.
I'm still loving this phone more and more everyday!! Recently I discovered the Inkredible App. It's so great for scribbling a few notes using a single finger (and lots of other cool features). So actually, I'm no longer even missing the S-pen. Well yes, people who wanna do various artistic stuff will need an S-pen, in which case get ripped off for the over-hyped Samsung S8. I don't like fattening Samsung by emptying my pocket. LOL.
After really heavy use yesterday only 48% power used in 8 hours. Like so cool!
Oh - and yesterday a female work colleague spotted my ZF3U and began asking questions. She too was dissed up by the Note 7 debacle. Sadly she bought the Google Pixel XL. In fact she was a bit sad when she put it next to the ZF3U and realised how small the Google Pixel XL looked - just a mere 5.5" screen. :)) So showed off some of the ZF3U to her and she was blown away!! LOL. So she was really considering what to do next after forking out £719 for Pixel! Errrh.. like no - she's not a 6'5" Amazon of a woman with large hands. She's actually about 5'4" and has average sized female hands. So I was surprised when she was asking so much about this phone. I mean if it's too large, you'd just forget about it.

Anonymous, 25 Nov 2016wow thanks for sharing. i do have an inexpensive asus tabl... moreConnectivity is super! 4G on Three network in the UK gives me between 80 - 105 Mbps download and 25 - 40 Mbps upload. Wifi is as good as a desktop computer and comes in at 45Mps which surprisingly is less than my 4G. I'm trying to post a link to speedtest result after this sentence (if it shows then cut and paste into your browser, if it does not show then they don't allow links): speedtest.net/my-result/a/2412223177
Many people including me, had an issue with Samsung phones and Bluetooth connection i.e. once connected to a car or other device, many Samsung phones would start playing music. It was so annoying - and I tried many fixes on the net that did not work. Well ZF3U does not give me this problem. I haven't tried creating a Wifi or Bluetooth hotspot, so unable to talk about that sort of connectivity.
BTW for those interested, there has been a price drop by about £30 at eglobalcentral (at this time). The current price makes ZF3U a better overall purchase than the ZF3 Deluxe, if I had to choose. But as I said before, it's about personal choice. If people just want to go on specs alone that's fine. I do say again that the synergy among the components on this ZF3U, is something that specifications alone cannot give an idea of real life performance.
The way I see it is that it's a balance of the following factors (not a complete list):
1. Size of phone/screen.
2. Screen performance.
3. Sound input/output performance.
4. Camera quality x 2.
5. Cost
6. Specification e.g. RAM, processors etc.
7. Memory expansion.
8. Dual or single sim.
9. Splash/water resistance - ZF3U is not as far as I'm aware.
10. Battery capacity.
11. Power management features and power usage.
12. Metal and/or plastic housing - ZF3U is sturdy metal, so won't do a bendigate unless extreme force is applied.
13. After sales support.
For me ZF3U was ideal balancing the above. Others may find a different balance that suits them and choose a different phone.
I'm now considering buying a second ZF3U!! I'm so over the moon about this phone!! LMAO

Anonymous, 22 Nov 2016may i know more about the quality of the screen? how is wa... moreAbout quality of the screen for watching video and photos -
I speak from personal experience - it's brighter, sharper and obviously bigger. Some have not set their brightness settings properly and have complained. Be careful about reports based on a quick appraisals of this phone. It took me two days to discover the correct screen settings for me. But turning up the brightness causes me to be dazzled. I'm not joking.
I keep mentioning Note 7 - because that was my real reference point. Note 7 was Amoled. ZF3U is IPS. So why am I so impressed? Because it is truly better than Note 7 screen in my overall interactions.
The down side of IPS is that viewing angles from the side are not great. So if you want to show stuff to people sitting more than 45 degrees on either side behind you, then they will see a slightly dimmer image than the lovely crisp goodness that you see, in adaptive brightness mode. However, you could just crank the brightness all the way up and dazzle a few people!! LOL. It's about show-factor for some people.
As I've said before in this forum, it is about personal choice. For me, I don't like people darting their eyes over at my phone - and I do catch um doing this on trains etc - so the IPS screen is great for me. They're now most unlikely to see much from their usual vantage points. People in and around big cities here in the UK claim to be minding their own business. I don't believe them!
But I'll give a little story. I gave my phone to a young lady to play with for about 10 minutes. She got on to YouTube, webpages and some games. She suddenly burst out, "This thing is so bright colourful and sharp. I love it!" And.. and.. she is a dedicated Samsung Note 4 user which has a very nice big bright screen.
A couple days ago, I had the ZF3U nearby but in a power saving mode (where networks power down after a few minutes). I didn't use it for 10 hours that day cuz I was doing most stuff on the computer. Total juice used: 2%. That's what I call lovely. I never got that with any Samsung phone.
There have been so many gripes about bloatware. But actually I had more bloatware from Samsung than on ZF3U.
Well I have no argument with people who want to pay more for a higher spec phone. All I can say is that in practical use of this phone, its components work so well together that I'm blown away. LOL.
