Abe, 06 Feb 2017It works mine bought in taiwan@abe,sir,after buying it in taiwan, will there be anything you should do first in the phone to make it ready for philippine use ( i mean changing the ROM,language,etc...) or everything is perfectly ready...cause i'm planning to buy it there since my aunt leaves in taiwan, but i'm afraid i might not able to set it properly if it needs to...waiting for a respond. tnx

how about buying this phone in taiwan, then i will use it in the philippines.will it work thesame with out any problems in networks (lte) and updates? ??

I'm experiencing a glitch with my Asus ZenFone 3. I have to regularly set the airplane mode on then put if off again in order to restore the network (Sun) signal. If not I will not be able to receive any text messages the entire day. Appreciate your assistance. :)

Swipe down notification bar only works on home screen..when I go to another apps or another page the swipe down bar not working. Please advise..

camera quality is poor. when taking the photo will look good, but after we zoom 100% on pc image to be blurr more.!!!!

AnonD-635118, 19 Jan 2017This phone or Huawei Nova (not Plus) ?Hold them both in hand and then decide which one you like. I went with the zenfone 3 because i couldn't get a hold of the huawei nova. They are pretty much the same thing. I like the nova design better because of the smaller form factor and better battery. Camera performs similarly to zenfone if not even better in low light. The thing is you are going to miss the optical image stabilization on the nova and trust me it's a nice feature to have. Laser autofocus isn't really that great. It only works for 1.5 meters and sometimes it gets annoying when you try to take a picture through a dirty window. So yeah you wont miss it on the nova. They both have premium build quality. I'm not disappointed with asus but i still feel that the battery could have been better. As for the software...well they're both pretty much bloated and you need to do some app disabling/uninstalling. So far asus has been stable. I don't know how other fingerprint readers perform but the one on the asus kind of annoys me. I'd like it to work as well when I slide my finger across it sideways but instead I have to find it on the back and hold my finger steady or slide it vertically. The most annoying thing about the zenfone 3 is the fact that it is very slippery on the sides. Be very careful when you unbox it because it comes wrapped in a plastic foil with absolutely no grip. I'm not sure how's the support for asus phones and how often they update but in one week i got 3 stability updates since i bought it. The update to android 7.0 should come soon enough. Another thing that annoyed me while I was traveling abroad is that it didn't automatically add the home country prefix to numbers while calling and I had to edit number before calling. Huawei as far as I know does this automatically. Otherwise everything else works great. I like the fact that you can record calls with the stock dialer app. Signal is good, voice volume is good, speaker quality is ok but it could have been louder, gps connects almost instantly and even works indoors. The accuracy is ok but I feel like it could have been even better. In conclusion it's a matter of taste as the phones are pretty much equal.

But if you really want to choose mi5, please consider about audio quality in video recording. Gps performance is poor. I cant even connect gps in highway.
Personally, i prefer zenfone 3.

I just buy this phone today.
I am totally impressed by this phone.
Design/build quality, camera,battery and sound are really good.
This is awesome phone in this price range.

Hyyy i'm using this phone for 3 weeks.. And my honest review is...poor battery life, camera average, video quality in low light poor, gaming good with but heating or lagging prob.. The price of ZenFone 3 is high

I like the phone a lot specially the battery life I recharge every 2 days but to my surprise this morning I notice that the battery expanded and I didn't even charge the phone because prior to the battery problem it had 54% left i asked for the warranty but sadly the battery is not part of the warranty. I ain't even a power user I just use it for call and text and watching videos
