It was great phone overall but there is a bad side about this version so many bloatware or pre install apps and it can't uninstall that unwanted apps. I wish on the next zenfone 4 has a better battery and at least IP67 certified. Hope asus read our feed backs so they can compete to the biggest name like iphone. Samsung. Sony. And LG in much lower price. 😆

I bought this zenfone 3, it was great nice design and functions. However I got mad for not sending SMS for my sun-cellular plan sim. While globe is working well. I need to switch both sim so sun sim function for about 3 to 4 hrs but again stop sending/receiving SMS. I went to sun, they told me that unit is the problem not their network.
I need help on how to fix this, please? Thank you.

v good phone loaded with good features
bigger battery could have been a plus

-Gre... moreBuy the 5.5inch variant then you will not have the battery fast draining issue.
You may search on Youtube that some people compare did the battery durability test for ZE552KL and Redmi Note 3. The result is stunningly different than you would think about the capacity battery versus usage durability.

No Zenfone 3 doesn't support IR blaster. You can check specification list.

lol many say this phone is overprice the way i see is that the price of this phone is right and it has finger print usb c and the new snapdragon 625 chip and 3gb ram 32gb rom and 424ppi...
im planning to buy new phone this one is one my list and the sony x compact unfortunately i only have 13k for now and waiting for the x compact to be release...

Anyone using this phone or the 5'5 inch varriant can tell me what extra apps (bloatware) are included.I saw few phone reviews where thier phone have game preinstalled too.Can these apps be removed or block? Because i want to save up as much as ram and rom possible.

I am using Asus Zenfone 3 ZE520KL for 2 weeks
Pros:
-Great camera both front and back(fast to capture)
-Elegant design - (very handy for female users)
-4gb RAM (very fast)
-64gb internal memory
-fast fingerprint scanning
-64 internal storage
-fast charging
cons:
- average battery life. battery drained fast when whole day picture taking, network data, call, sms. (that's why it is fast charging. haha)
- the dual sim sometimes bugs me. cannot send msg instantly even though i have full signal so what i do is i have to switch on the airplane mode a second then turn it off. so that the network would restart then it backs to normal sending (looking for solution to this)
- many bloatware ( you have to disable unnecessary apps)
-hybrid memory card slot (but i'm fine with the internal memory (64gb - dual sim user)
Overall Excellent phone for normal users, but for heavy user/gamers battery is your major problem. :)
