Hi,
I have Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom phone and everything is ok except one display issue.
If I set a totally black picture (for example using Screen Test app) and I am a completely dark room, the screen is lightly lit. I have a lots of AMOLED screen phone but only this have a little light while I'm using a black picture. Only my phone have a failure or every 3 Zoom phone have this issue? It's not an LCD so I don't really understand it. Could somebody make this test and give me feedback, please? Thank you!

Hi I am facing issue with Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom ZE553KL that my SIM card 1 suddenly goes undetected. i tried swapping SIM cards, factory reset however nothing is working.
i observed this after i upgraded to 7.1. Plz help

I bought the 3G ram/32GB version from Best Buy 2 week ago. The phone works flawlessly. No white line. Battery is awesome. Phone quality is top notch. Very happy with the purchase.

Anonymous, 14 Jul 2017When you buy z3z just make sure that the item's manufacture... moreMaybe isolated case mine have no white line but my problem is it does have weak signal on areas where I usually have strong signal.

Weak signal compared to my other android gadgets with the same network I hope they can fix it with an update.

I had same issue i got white line bottom of my screen. 3 time i sent to asus customer services to repair but i got same problem after 3 day i use my phone.. I felt so disappointed... 😢

I wanna ask you all guys something.. Here too many guys said that this phone has white bottom line issue and not easy to be fixed. Why you all still insisting to buy this crap??? What's wrong with you guys? Still have a little hope that no such issue you gonna face? Or what???
Here i give you another bad news..!! It took me almost 2 months to figure this out.. Instagram having issues with asus zenfone series not only zoom but all zenfone 3 series. I have been using Instagram more than 2 years on my LG phones. Suddenly 2 months ago instagram hashtags stopped working..!! I can see my posts in specific hashtag but no one likes. Only my friends see and like. No new likes coming.. it made freak more than 2 months, i made reset to phone, install uninstall Instagram everything i have done..!! Useless. And few weeks ago i used my old LG to post on Instagram and more than 100 new likes came. Then i bought new LG G6 2 weeks ago. Also installed instagram and working fine no problem..!!
I searched all instagram forums read more than 5k comments and only 2 guys reported this issue on forums. They also couldn't fix and changed with a new phone..!! I dunno what you guys thinking or doing but keep away from asus crap.. Don't feed hopeless hope.. Keep this Instagram issue in your mind. And don't comment noobish things about...

Just got it couple of days back (3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage), Have been using a Galaxy S5 for the last couple of years.
After a few hours of consecutive updates to get to Android N and switching to the Google launcher. Device performance and battery life are great. The camera's auto is ok but need to test the manual mode further to know for sure.
Cons:
No dual band / Wifi AC support only 2.4Ghz bands/spectrum which is super saturated and max speedtest I was able to get was 50Mbps down vs 200+ on the S5.
No NFC can't tap with Android pay any longer.
Pros:
Battery life
Screen size & Gorilla Glass 5
Manual tweakability and RAW mode to play with on the camera(s)
