4GB with white line issue here.for the most part,it seems really the 4GB VERSION has the "white line" issue. i want this phone for the sole purpose of "phone-photography" and ofcourse communication. but im hesitant to purchase this due to the issue.im currently based in the u.s.
is there someone that's here in the states that could vouch that the 3GB VERSION is clear from the "white line" thanks.cheers!

I've just bought it yesterday, upgraded it to nougat and just try the camera today and the screen shown flickering especially when shooting light bulbs.. The front camera is ok though, no flickering.

updated to android 7.1.1 phone battery damn worst ever. now i have %15 left and screen on time is just 5.5hrs. I leave battery with %100 after i wake up 8-9 hrs, i seen battery down to %94-94.. Asus made a big .... up..!! I will never ever buy asus anymore. had white bottom line 3 times now having battery issue. 5000mah working like 2000mah. Damn worst update ever. dont update to nougat

got mine and was having white lines at the bottom. the store replaced it and 2nd phone also got the same problem. I had to have it refunded. My office mate is also having an issue with the volume button not working.

best buy right now,seems a good buy,but mostly what i have read,its the "white line" that bothers every user.

Updated to Nougat. Any one here able to adjust the screen size of app when on multiwindow/split screen? App's screen size remains at 50-50 ratio. Dragging the '—' up/down doesn't do anything.

I have been using this phone for months...overall this phone works great especially the battery life...I can use this phone without charging for 2 days...the camera is great...you have to use manual mode to get greater picture especially in low light...phone's performance in running apps is smooth & no lag so far...
In negative side, white line appears at the bottom on the screen after few weeks using it after have been bought...I read the other users that have the same problem as they said after sending to ASUS service center the white line appears again after a week...so, I decided to continue using with the white line because it just a line at the bottom of the screen and not affecting the usage of the phone...but after a month, my display screen is not working with flickering problem and lines accross the screen until the screen is completely cannot display a thing! The touchscreen is working fine though..So, I managed to send it to ASUS service center and they replaced the LCD panel within 2 days...
Now, I have been using this phone again for a week since repaired...hopefully the screen issues not happen again...

USA version has 3gb ram. I completely overlooked this since international has been released since Feb with 4gb and we recently got it a month ago. Not a deal breaker but a little disappointing when everything lists it as 4gb

Just got nougat update today. No white line, no issues, and phenomenal battery life. Auto start manager is a godsend for stopping background apps but make sure the things you need notifications for are turned on like email/messenger. Everything about this phone helps it just last longer imo especially coming from a Nexus 6p with a heavily degrading battery with 2hours sot

I bought zenfone 3 zoom white line appeared on Day 7 naturally they replaced it/ they should but after 2 mos white line appear again on the replacement unit zooming the cam is grainy and no stabilizer. So excited and loyal on asus but git disspointed

Bought this phone here in Baguio City, PH. And it came with a free JBL Clip 2 Bluetooth speaker. I was a Zenfone 2 user.
Updated the software twice. No problems so far. No white lines. I was having doubts because there's a lot of people saying that white lines appeared after a few days/ a week of using the Z3Zoom. But so far, everything's okay.
Battery - Lasts two days - using the phone for messaging, calls, browsing, reading/watching, an hour or two of gaming. I usually charge using my powerbank. No worries on overcharging since the phone automatically stops charging when it reaches 100% (powerbank powers off too). I always charge when it reaches 20%. Takes about 3 to 4 hours to fully charge.
Camera - still prefer Zenfone2's camera (maybe because I'm more used to it lol). Pictures are noisy and poor quality on low light. Dual cam but the main function of one camera is for zooming only. Outdoors/good lighting, pictures are great (a bit saturated). Will try taking more pictures on my next trip.
Gaming - been playing Asphalt8, Injustice, Marvel Future Fight, DH5.. runs smoothly. It doesn't heat up easily compared with my Zenfone2.
OS - Asus could've packed the phone with Android Nougat since android n was already out last year. Well, hope they upgrade soon.

I am owning this phone. So far so good. Battery life is superd. Performance average. Camera average. But there is one bug. Lack of sensitivity under bottom touch screen. Sometime no unresponsive.
