Used it for 2+1/2 years: 2 batteries (1200 mAh type) are dead now, and I can't find any local shops selling OEM replacements, instead I was directed by ASUS to their service centre and their batteries cost a fortune (about US$35/pc). In retrospective, I think ASUS never meant for the Zenfone-4 to be a stand-alone mobile (1200 mAh for battery?) but to compliment their existing ASUS Notebooks users, whereby Zenfone-4 was supposed to be attached to USB charging on their Notebooks? It was a quick-fix for the Zenbook notebook users!!!

My zenfon 4 is not working I dont know why..its exactly a year now..it opens up but it only shows the logo and its stop..

I got this phone and all I can say is that the phone is good for basic use. Been using it for 2 years. I upgraded it to Android Lollipop and everything was okay, except the non-removable bloatware which is annoying every time i format the phone. In my experience, the battery lasted for 2 days of regular use. It's not a gaming phone so, i wouldn't recommend this to people who like gaming. Sound quality is okay especially when using earphones. The phone's back cover is very cheap and the smooth texture comes of easily. The phone heats a lot, especially if you used it too much and wouldn't last a day.
But I would still recommend this phone for people who want to buy a decent budget phone or a backup phone.

Pretty good phone, but the only thing i hate about this phone is the screen. Everytime i use this phone while my hands are sweating, it glitches out! But it's still a pretty good phone, especially for kids.

I used these phone for 18 months and it cant detect to WiFi Spot recently.
May I know is tat caused by hp antenna problem or setting problem?
How to resolve the probem?

i am having ASUS zenfone 4. i am using it form last one year. Now it shows some error like" Unfortunately Camera has stopped", " Unofrtunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped." Please explain why these errors shown and how to solve it. Now all the APPs, Google Playstore and also Camera not working. some times Calls and messages are also not able to pick or read. pls help

i love it so much. i use it for 1 year 8 month.. it still okey.. n never disapointed me.. but i only use for whatsapp google insta youtube and some basic use.. 8/10

taefany, 29 Dec 2015why is that there is a blinking red light on the top RIGHT... moreIt's a led indicator. It alerts Missed calls, received sms, low battery warning. Go to display settings to off led indicator. Sorry, for poor English.

It was only good the first few months (4-6 months) for me. After that it started hanging A LOT. It heats up easily when using wifi, mobile network, playing games, and more so when it hangs. Also, It's like the back is glued shut. My fingernails break every time I try to take out the battery because it's EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to open it up.

i had used this mobile for 2 years.Initially there was no battery problem for 6 months but later this problem cropped up.I had to charge my mobile phone 3 times a day while using wifi/3g connection.Phone gets heated,also gets hanged frequently.At the end this mobile's OS got corrupted.
This mobile was good when it was launched but looking at the market competency you would find a better mobile phone for this price.
