Why on earth did u took the battery off while the system is upgrading to android kitkat 4.4.2?…u should have known better…initially the first time u wake the unit it's os is still jelly bean, that's why u see something like "erasing" in the update…

I have this phone for 3 months and then I think I went to the settings and I pressed something which I dont know.. My problem is my screen that when Im playing or doing something that I need to double tap it went to bigger or closser ..pls help

Try hard reset by holding vol up + power button, hold it until you see some options, use volume button to navigate through options, choose factory reset (warning: it will erase all internal memory data) press power to accept, wait the android reinstalling (it may take 5 minutes), DONT REMOVE THE BATTERY, done.

My zenfone 4 battery is never draining even in 3g mode. My device is only charging once per day. You may have to force stop all unused apps manually to save battery. Restart your phone to recycling ram.
p.s: there is something wrong with the software update. The update is always destroy my phone. That i could do was resetting my phone by holding vol up + power button to boot normally

Does the screen really crack easily? Like, at knee height or after a few bumps? This is the only thing that's holding me back from buying this unit.

If you follow that , then the battery charge will run for around two and half to three days.
First location services and auto syncing should be off.
second smart saving function should be on in ultra saving mode .
third u cant find in the phone . but i m telling how you do find in the phone .
Go to setting>About>software information >build number.
click on build number 5 times continously . now it will tell you that now you are a Developer.
now open setting again and u will find the option of "developer option" at bottom side .
open it and find "set background process" at bottom side ,open and "set it two or one."
now done . it will increase your battery life from 4 hours to 8 hours. battery would not drain automatically even in stand by mode .

its booting up continusly. im tring up to 2h but not start.
case...
actualy there is some thing system update showing on screen... then its show data erasing(upgrade screen) and i m remove batt. then try switch on the phon but its not....
Pl help me...

Already all told Battery is shutdown very soon.If i use camera if going any outing mean it will be discharged and net usage avail battery % is getting low.This is the main for all went to any long travel mean hear the songs,playing games and using net shutdown next 2 to 3 hrs.But memory is hgh all options are good except battery.Will u buy asus mean think some time...

And when high speed browsing is required switch to 3g. Keep wifi, blutooth, gps etc off when not in use. Switching on powersaving option also helps reduce heating problem
