basab , 09 Nov 2014I am using this latest ZF 4 from last 2 months.facing lots ... morehey...my phone also getting hot (heating when using apps more than 15 Mins..) any help?

I am using this latest ZF 4 from last 2 months.facing lots of issues.First of all just after 10 days use phones normal speaker got defunct!!! I used to on loudspeakers while making or receiving any voice call, after some discussion with the customer care,which is soo pathetic I have visited customer service center and they repaired it . But this time it works only with a very mild volume increase!!. Other problems like, battery draining, phone getting hot, hangs up all sort of problems are there and customer service is also not that helpful

What i would expect from lolipop update next year !!!
1.Need Themes app for zenfones or user can customise the icons ans display.
2.Lock screen should be customised by user.
3.weather widget can be diabled, weather app at lock screen is no use for me in india.
4.multi tasking of app by touch screen and without need for capcitive buttons.
No more expectations. U rock asus, i started building trust in your products at India.In future want to buy 15 inch laptop with hd screen hope u again make it reachable at 20000 to 30000 Rs.

I have read complaint of "sound low" !!!
guys using smart phones how can you say that , use audio widzard setting and put phone on speech mode thats it !!!
battery update is improved after update also would buy high capacity battery if available in future for this phone

ashu.., 28 Oct 2014is android 4.4 working good in this phone.No. I would wait a while. My phone switches itself off randomly since upgrading and I see little improvement in battery life it may in fact be worse. I have the latest ZF4 version 1 week old for reference.

I bought this on August for $110.
Some guy that said it's 4GB ROM and not 8, it's true because there's a 3 packaging category ( batch ) . The difference is : Batch 1 is 4GB ROM and 1200MAh battery, Batch 2 is 8GB ROM and 1200MAh battery ( This one's mine ), and Batch 3 is 8GB ROM and 1600MAh battery ( CMIIW ). Check the box if you want to know what category is yours.
I've cracked my phone's LCD on mid October and unfortunately, the LCD and the touchscreen is merged ( they said that's why their Zenfone 4 is so responsive when touched ) so if i cracked one of them, i have to bought LCD + touchscreen for $60. And yesterday my phone's have been repaired and it's fine, it's for those who said have a problem in their Service Center.
BTW i'm Indonesian. So if you have a Service Center problem in EU or US,well,i'm surprised. I thought they were better in those regions.

To those who are criticizing Asus Zenfone4 for its functionality fault, please ask yourself how much did you pay the time you bought this product. You can not have all the best specs in such low price value.

Battery problem for android phone?? I thinks it is normal
Better spend time...check the specs before buy any phone.
Its already stated there battery for zen4 is 1200/1600mAh...
Go for Lumia 1520,LG g pro 2,lenovo s860/p780 or note 3/4 if u want a smartphone with better battery life.
Stop blaming phone company...u got what u paid for... Shouldnt compare 1200mAh in zen4 with 4000mAh in s860....u know what i mean

Something for user and others are reserved for apps. In 16gb you will get nearly 10 or 12, while others are reserved for apps.

please don't ever buy Asus products. All the thugs goons work at Asus. Their after sale service is most pathetic. 4 months have passed by with my zenfone 4 still at Asus service center. And now they say the costumer has to pay even if the product is faulty.
Biggest mistake of my life buying a Asus product. Please and please refrain from buying any Asus product.

Battery Drain Fast. I have upgraded to Kitkat 4.4.2 and initially battery drain fast for the first few days. Then I realised some apps are running inside cos' I detected some heat. Then I powered off the phone and charged the phone. Viola! after that the battery is back to normal if not better! Try it.
