i got the good news and the bad news...the good news is the new firmware are can update now..and the facebook have no problem...the bad news is i not found yet..XD

Yes great smartphones for $ 100. Overall good job asus, I can play HD games free lag in this device. But battrey capacity too small :(

Just updated my Zenfone 4 to v4.3.5 (JSS15Q.WW.ZenFone-V4.3.5). First impression is i noticed homescreen slide page smooth again just like before 2nd update. I hope this new update fixes many bugs and glitches contains from previous update.

I'm successfully tested using Mobile Data HSDPA/3G mode and my Zenfone 4 works just fine. I've already tried downloading apps from playstore together with whatsapp while making / receiving calls and both 3G & 2G mode is working properly. The HSDPA is fast too which is download apps 14MB in just 22second only (Maxis Hotlink /RM2 per day).
I don't know why your Zenfone have this problem but fyi my Zenfone 4 is original warranty from ASUS and not AP (import from China) which mean warranty by local retailer.

4.2.0 is the firmware version, NOT the android version.
Kitkat? who knows? asus continually releasing firmware update for zf4
newest firmware is v 2.3.5
-no more facebook crash
-bbm able to send pic from sd card directly

abg kuz, 25 Jun 2014did your enable your hsdp+ data service, because, in my cas... moreOhh, really?? I do enable 2G mode only for Zenfone 4 since i already have 3G enabled on other phone. I'll try later using Mobile Data /3G mode and then let you know about calls problem on Mobile data mode.

AnonD-276931, 25 Jun 2014i already factory reset ... it still same ... after the upd... moreWow.. that's a serious problem, ASUS really dissappointing on Zenfone owner. I heard some of Zenfone 4, 5, and 6 user also got this problem instead of apps incompatibility. Unfortunately i have no idea on how to revert back the previous firmware after updating to new version. You should send back your Zenfone to ASUS service center (plaza Low Yat) or just go to the shop where you purchased the phone.

The problem is some the apps did not included x86 libs into their android SDK which cause unexpected error to Intels x86 device
