Remot... morei just contacted asus support asking about the ir sensor. they said its a normal inferred sensor that can send and recive ir signals, and should work with, say, a universal remote app. Can someone else test this and provide more confirmation if the ir sensor works?

I do not like Gmail that keeps showing the same mails over and over even if those mails have been deleted. It might be a coincidence that those mails are in general ads.

They use to make great and affordable phones. I got one Zenfone 2 for 299$ with intel chipset almost 3 years ago and it still rocks at every level. This one rocks too but not for 850 EURO.

Not going to get any Asus anymore, their ZF3 was supposed to be "built for photography" and its camera never focus properly.

I got mine on 11/24/17 and so far I love it. The battery life is pretty good. I have had it off the charger for 5 hours now, and I am at 69%. That's with me listening to music, playing a game on the bus ride into work. The screen colors are vivid, my eyes had to get used to them. The camera is great. I had friends comment on how clear the pictures I took with it are. The only problem I have is the lack of ambient display, which is something I loved on my OnePlus 2.

Anonymous, 23 Nov 2017If MP don't mean nothing, then why did the HTC One flopped...?Even it only 12MP, it has newer sensor, bigger aperture and more features like Dual-Pixel PDAF that Zenfone 3 Deluxe doesn't have. Camera on HTC One is outdated, 4MP is only for selfie camera, while 12MP is good enough for main camera. If you really concern about MP, get yourself Zenfone 3 Deluxe and expect good low-light on it. Dream on!

Joe777, 21 Nov 2017so you have this phone ? how do you rate battery life ? str... moreSo I received mine 4 days ago and love it. Battery lasts well over a day, screen is good in daylight, have not done a camera test yet but initially it looks good. Speed is great and overall I like it.
Only thing is that it does not have a native email app, other than the Gmail one. Trialing a few at the moment.
