If only this had the 5.0.2 or 5.1.1 versions, it could have had a stellar battery life.

I used it for just a few days when i wanted to flash a custom rom on it like in 2020. The battery is very-very bad i can see it dropping in real time and it has been happening since the start when my other family member bought it in 2014 but not used again after realizing the terrible battery. It wasnt that bad on android 7.1.2 custom rom just that horrible battery and the headphone jack for some reason had bad audio quality. This phone is probably still usable for basic tasks in 2022 but the battery is just bad, the camera is usable tho.

I use this phone around 4 years ago, and it was very good for Free Fire or Mobile Legends. That was back on 2018. But on 2022, unfortunately i update this phone to Android 5.0, and it's battrey is a dump, battrey lasts like less than 30minutes. Although i install custom rom like Lineage os 14.1 it's still draining..... But for standby it could hold up to 1 day too, but for on screen time, it holds just less than 30minutes. PUBG? Don't mention it. PUBG won't work on intel atom chipsets sadly. But this phone is still my antique and i still keep it as a mp3 player if i can. LOL

I used this phone until now, wow phone age 8 year old but still very solid ,
This phone need appreciation for durability . But I think need change phone hahaha.
Battery can last 24 hours with out used (Stand-by), if you used maybe 1 or 2 hours
and battery parameters messed up same time can fall suddenly. like off when 50%.
Phone has change battery and charger port 1 time.
Other battery same time screen can change color like burn because charger too long.
When 2014 storage 16 GB is enough. but now very painful i only have whats*pp app .
my android version only 4.4 (KitKat) and you used almost 4 GB for system reserved.
You only have 12 GB live and less because other app.

had this phone for a day, it was so slow even spotify struggled to open, and the battery was just terrible

I got this around 2015.
The phone was beautiful and premium-looking for a budget phone.
But damn. That battery life wasn't worth it.
I can just stare at the battery percentage for a few seconds and it will just drop 1% 2% wtf.
It got snatched by a thief around 2016 sadly lol

16GB Internal is already top of the line back then at 2014.Even sams,ng flagship gala,y s5 at the same 2014 only have 16gb too. It is unlogic to expect a (cheap) 2014 phone to have more internal storage than expensive sams,ng flagship 2014 phone.
your battery have aged for like 6 years and for your own safety you should have replace it years ago.not to mention it is an inherent problem from intel chipset (size 28nm) which is power hungry (and hot) so battery life is shorter even when it's brand new back then in 2014.
be wise and logical. you can't expect a 2014 standart phone to perform as well or better than 2020 standart phone.it's 6 years apart,,, 6 phone generations apart,,, this asus ZF5 is that OLD,,, it's even older than great grandpa in asus phone family tree haha 😂.

This phone just crashes out of nowhere after a Lollipop update.

Custom rom available on xda, try borrow sd card first, its not common sd card reader fail, can try install from computer.
Btw find expert to install custom rom becase can cause totally unusable, need to fully backup original rom using twrp before install custom. God bless
