Battery life so poor

Phone is ok for me but battery life is very very poor and Ausus getting heat. Ausus do something for us. Extremely poor and bad battery life.

I checked it and found that it does not have a powerful network antenna like micromax has.. rest features are real good.. whats your take about this??

i have a theory regarding my present issue whenever i take out my phone outside my locker its cold and whenever i turn it on it starts to go crazy again... but when i let it warm a little it starts eorking again ...... i hope its not always ...

I agree to what you said about having a power bank to solve the problem because it's only natural for android phone to drain their battery life fast.

its ok but battery is very poor and also some video is not support in mx and asus video player. ovarall ok day by its slow and if battery is its ok to all

Honestly, I personally didnt like this phone, but it really grows into you. This phone is always underestimated, and sure it is leagues away from perfect, but that is what makes this phone thrilling! The only thing that I really hate about it is the fact that the home, multi task and back buttons DONT LIGHT UP. Seriously, what's up with that?

Is Asus planning to improve its battery life?Overall it's perfect but the heating issues and EXTREMELY POOR BATTERY LIFE PISSES ME OFF.Please Asus do something

Hi All,
I bought my first Zenfone 5 (1.6 Ghz)on last July and was using till end of this February.
Apart from the fact that if you didn't get a "over heating " piece,following are observations
1.Maturity of Android porting (level of compliance to the Google mandated events and sequences)
2.Bug free porting of android.
3.Frequent updates(at least I guess I got 10 updates in the last 8 months)
4.Build quality of the unit
5.Display & Performance,Call quality
6.Lollipop upgrade
7.On the battery ,I use tasker application and control the Autosync & Data-wifi on a scheduled - need basis,
I happily get 1.5 days with 1 hrs of call,15 SMS ,2.25hrs of internet and some whatsapp.
I strongly recommend everybody to be ensure that they are on the latest firmware and after each of the firmware upgrade,pl do a complete reset(may not be easy,but recommended)
Last week I bought a Yureka phone by the sheer amount of advt gimmicks - trust me due the build quality ,Call quality and firmware issue(proximity bug,
being a custom ROM(Cyanogen - My tasker was showing some issues) , I returned back .
And Guess what,
I bought Zenfone 5 (1.2Ghx) AGAIN from FLIPKART today!!!!
With HDFC credit card 10%,at Rs.7200 ,it is a steal

Loudspeaker problematic Asus Zenfone 5, Service center is a BIG CHEAT. Hopeless service of ASUS, when u take the phone for loudspeaker problem, service center will tell u that there is problem with something else and charge you around rs. 2k, after that u followup with customer srvice for this kind of cheating, no proper response at all. if u want to peace of mind, do not go for ASUS

The model available on flipkart is confusing?
Is it 501,500,502? Main difference I know is the processor speed for these models. So wanted to check which one is available to buy?
And any other difference?
