    battery backup is very poor. and loudspeker output is also poor.touchpad is very good.

        The speakers have gone silent within one month of using the phone. The external speakers are very bad. The Service centre personnel also do not have a clue about the problem and are saying that the motherboard is faulty. Very poor quality phone and service from ASUS. How can a company which with a motherboard repute manufacture such defective motherboards for a phone. There were lot of customers at the service centre with the same problem on the Zenfone.

            If enginiers from asus manage to fix heating problem the battery life will increase rapidly. Also 3g is enormous battery sucker and heater. Hope Lolipop do something in that direction.

              I SAY AGAIN: DO NOT UPDATE ALL APPS.
              --WILL CONTINUOUS BATTERY VIBRATOR
              (maybe mine was just coincidental ha?)
              Hardware Reset (Power key + Vol.Up) cannot restore it.

              Going back to the store tomorrow
              (which costs fare, time, & sleeprest :-(

              Oppo R2001-Yoyo's LoudSpeaker & Headset is 50% Louder & has more range (clearer) than ZenFone 5's.
              5MP Camera is clearer (Max. Aperture past 2.7) against ZF5 8MP (Max A. is 2.0 rear cam
              BUT COLOR CAPTURE ADVANTAGE is to ZF5

              Me? I use Oppo's headset in ZF5 music,
              use ZF5 camera to take pictures.


              I HOPE THIS COULD BE OF HELP to a decision.
              (otherwise, this was a waste of our time.)

                    AnonD-90687, 11 Feb 2015mine is still ASUS_T00J_WW_USER_2.20.40.12, im not receivng... moredownload update file from support site and install manually. you need to copy .zip file in internal storage and you will get notification on top to update image once copied

                          I bought Asus TooJ last 2 days. A you all said when we are talking the battery will get heat fast our ear will get pain. Some body suggested in our office Asus is good so bought this but if they would have the battery heading I would not have purchase. After my purchase my colleague told not I am helpless
