Guy ! Do anybody know how to terminate Hyperthreading functionality of zenfone 5 ???
I think 1.6 ghz is sufficient with dual core so what the hell Hyperthreading is doing here ?
Its simply giving stress to battery life & heating device as quick as possible.

i bought this phone 4th this month i had experienced heating problem even for short time usage and video capturing is not good... The captured image is not continuous there are plenty stuck in between...

I heard it , its gorilla glass is getting brkn if we put it down even from 3 ft , and for replacement its cost 4000 rs. Is it true?? .

Sometimes im impressed with this phone but sometimes im not.. the materials of building this phone such a low quality..
If there's an available back case this phone??? Not the accessories but the back cover not the protectors

i brought a new zenfone 5 last 2 weeks it was working properly now whenever i am trying to open my camera it is coming as no camera found pls tell me settings or is there any software isssue

rahul, 06 Feb 2015i have purchased it and its the worst phone only looks is ... moreok here is answer for your question....standard sim are the big one that we used on old nokia phones,micro sims are smaller than standard sim(in size of standard sim chip),this type of sim are mostly being used now including in zenfone 5......there is another version which is nano sim card which is little smaller than micro simcard,this nano is used on iphones....

rahul, 06 Feb 2015i have purchased it and its the worst phone only looks is ... morethe manual is very clear, probably you just misunderstood it. it says use standard microsim i.e not with adapters/ modified or cut. most of new phones come with micro sim not just asus.

my software version is in 2.20.40.9...
i didnt receive software update on my device...
i m also tried manual update using FOTA...
but i cant succeed...
can anyone suggest me how to update manually...

Everything fine but battery drains very fast. Music n ringtone volumes are average.After updating 2.21.40.44 Wi-Fi problems. Wi-Fi connection done, but not loading. Really disappointing.....Lots of updates but battery problem not solved n now wifi.....

i have purchased it and its the worst phone
only looks is good and stylish,
both sim slot are micro , i suffered lot by visiting bsnl subscriber and replaced old sim with new sim, and guess what happen,
network is contioniously fluctuating within 2 to 3 minutes of gap, no proper sim slot is given, its clearly mentioned in their phone manual sheet that use standard sim for good network connection, i dont understand what is a standard sim, is it a special sim for asus zenfone 5 , and if yes then asus zenfone should provide it seprately to their customer before buying the mobile.. i am fed up with this phone, my 8000 /- is like loss only, shit on this useless asus zenfone 5
