I've been contemplating between zen5 and lenovo vibe X. And after months of reading user reviews from different websites. I finally got my zen5 16gb!
The phone is just two days old. and I have to say it is quite classy for a budget phone. (especially with the tempered protection). It has a feel that only ASUS has. Maybe its because of the ZENUI. Screen is good. Data is good. Sound is okay. Pictures and videos are good enough (I do not really use them most of the time). and i have to agree with most of the users here that battery life really depends on how you use it. whether you have tons of apps running or just one app downloaded (like mine) it can really drain the battery once wifi and/or data is on. i don't have facebook nor do i have twitter, instagram, skype, line or games except for CoC (the one game i have on). but it can still heat up and drain the phone.
but overall, i give it an 8/10 (with 10 being the highest).

[deleted post]Hi, try factory reset your phone. Remove your memory card. Check for OTA update. mine also T00J model. OTA update works fine. Might be the downloaded files is corrupt, try download it again.

Very good phone. Weaknesses are the battery and speaker. I rate it 7.5/10.

hi guys please help me. I have Asus zenfone 5 asus_T00J. My firmware is 1.80.40.9 i cant upgrade to KitKat via OTA. Ive tried upgrade manually by dowloading the latest firmware in asus website and put in my internal storage. after that i have the update notification, after i pressed it it reboot to recovery or somthing n begin installing but then it failed, saying cannot load volume/misc. How to solve this guys? please tell me step by step! i also tried upgrading using 1.80.40.10 firmware i also got the same result. My SkU is WW and my phone is unrooted. Do i need to root for upgrading? please help me,my email is cqa.ainul@gmail.com
