Awesome phone with 2 GB Ram, 1.6 GHZ processor. Only problem is with its accessories which is available on online only, which anyone get through Flip kart or Ebay.
My suggestion go for it, you will not be disaapointed.

OTG is Supported ..... battery backup is worst ,,it take 2.30 hr for charging i.e (15% to 100%)

I have bought asus zenfone 5 1week ago .the phone is awesome in case of design performance camera .. the battery was draining fast when it was in android jelly bean but after updating to kitkat it gives decent battery life.zenfone 5 is absolutely a lag free smartphone with 2gb ram and powerfull intel processor

I got one yesterday Asus Z5 16GB/2GB. This phone absolutely rocks! I love the ZenUI and other features compare to other high-end brands, affordable yet very powerful OS. Kudos ASUS keep it up!

i connect my sd card to my phone and it doesnt seem to take it.. i mean it rejects it.. i bought a new zenfone 5 with internal 16gb memoery and a external micro sd card class 6.. it's rejecting the card.. can someone please help me?

~LAG PROBLEM~
My Asus... morefor lagging & battery charging issue--> run factory reset unit and keep minimum app,
battery charging issue-->run factory reset and use original bundled charger, keep unit in power saving mode
backup-->purchase 10,000 mah power bank , good for Zenfone also use unit in power saving mode. keep auto sync off
no lollipop update released for Zenfone now, may be in march.
rooting-->may damage hw and your warranty will get void after that
