very bad battery backup. when i installed kitkat my zenfone 5 is give lots of problems. and very bad service of its service center. i told my problem. to the service center they don't help me.

even i rooted my nokia c6 many times ...
but for zenfone i am expecting some solution from asus ...
and one more thing i like to add is that ... because your and tomazz sir's advice ... i was able to disable google play services for some time ... and it gives almost double battery life ... coz now i m simultaneously using whatsapp and hike and still battery is redusing by 1% for every 4 mins which was draining previously by 1% for 2 mins

so cant install greenify ddonation package and disable service.
and i know that if we want to control google services then there is only one option and that is rooting the phone.
I am trying to find the solution without rooting the phone with you and tomazz sir's help.

it also happened twice with me when I installed juice defender.
my senser was not working after installing juice defender while receiving the call.
i think it was because of some permission issue of juice defender.
normal factory reset was the solution for both times.

I think Asus flip cover works with Hall effect... moreCould be, that was a guess. But certainly it looks like something is wrong with the sensor, whatever it is using, that thinks the cover is closed.
It would not use sensor if the setting was disabled, so that could be a way around, if he could get to the menu...

It is a best mobile at this price range...
major problem is the battery back up.. but it is not worst.. It can stand for one day with normal usage.. you will be a fool if you avoid this mobile for its battery. Its best feature is its camera, graphics, display, look(wat more do u need from a mobile). Normal heat is produced when used for a long time. The battery doesn't drain when the phone is in lock. Its night mode camera is awesome. I as using the mobile for 25 days and before 10 days I updated to KITKAT. Its awesome. BEST BUY. Asus rockz at this price range

I anderstood some thing else abaut that phone.Heating is the bigest problem with it .For exemple if the phone did not heat as much as it has during gameplay on havy 3D game ,or even when browsing on 3G the discharge will be segnifetly les that it is.More tempriture more discharge.My phone heat's up to 50-55C wille i'm playing Injestice Gods among us,and draince from 100% to 20% for 45 minutes ,so problemm with the battery is that Atom prosesor is heating too much and that propably is usolvable..

If it still does that, it may mean that something broke.

After updating to KK i have some esue whit the headset.During a phone call the speaker for listening is not working and i have to put my phone to loudspeaker to continue my call.Is that a coment problem after KK update, or i have a hardware problem with my phone????

If you can anyhow get into the phone, disable the flip cover.
If you can't get into settings at all, ask Asus service centre to fix it. Should be done under warranty.

I am facing an issue with this phone the lock screen does not appear when I power it on. It displays the circular screen which is shown when a flip cover is put on it. This screen doesnot go away and stops me from unlocking my phone.
It has turned into a brick. Is anyone else facing this issue.
