Freinds dont try to update ur zenfone for bcoz this update brings many problems to ur phone. So it'll be Better to wait for another stable kitkat update from Asus. Hoping that asus will release a stable kitkat update without any issues for the Zenfone.

Ok guys I'm on kitkat since the day it was released. I'm facing issues but not all of which guys r reporting here.
I'm facing a few issues like
1) Sd card unmounts n mounts itself back
2) my phone forgets saved wifi passwords sometimes
3) the obvious battery issue. Now with the battery fix update my battery has improved but not by much. Standby has improved a lot.
Hopefully the next update will fix most of our problems.

I cannot hear the incoming call ringtones, alarms tones, message tones and even the music. It seems that Problem has happen in SOUND Settings. All the tones volume is to maximum
I have android 4.4.2 with Build Number ASUS_100J_WW_user_2.19.40.18_20141003_8008 release-keys 044000307_201407220024

Do not update to 4.4 . There are some issues with the package, it isnt stable yet. I am getting dark blackboxes on screen since the update. Anyone else getting the same ? Anymore bugs/issues ? List down pls.

I just updated it to kitkat and now the red light is not shown while charging. Is that common?

After a long time waiting for this phone , finally i got this zenfone 5 . Yaaa everybody (not really) gave a feedback that this phone drain battery life so fast , after the kitkat update . I'am an ap user on this phone .Is there any update available to fix the battery ? I need to go on a vacation this week but i really don't want my phone in this health lol haha thank you

When it was jb os it works well but after up gradation 4.4.2 external memory is unmounting automatically is there any fix for that ...pls help me

Why the battery consumption is for every 3mins. 1% charge meaning for 1 hour 20% of battery will less. It happened during browsing networks.. Is that normal?

i have a ASUS zenfone 5 , when i installed viber on that, it keeps asking me the access to contact list , it does not change if i click yes or no , it keeps poping up all the time, don't know how get rid of that,seems viber could not connect or syncron with phone contact list, please any suggestion?
