khalid, 11 Oct 2014hi guys yesterday i updated to kitkat and i cannot access... moreI also faced the same problem. After updated it to kit Kat I did factory reset several times to resolve this issue, but I couldn't. After that I inserted aircel SIM instead of Vodafone SIM in my primary slim slot. Then I found that apn settings was working properly with aircel SIM. Then I did factory reset once more keeping the aircel SIM inside. After that I replaced the aircel SIM with Vodafone, and configured the apn for vodafone. Now everything is working properly.

After upgrading to kitkat battery drain and it consumes more RAM then i download battery drain fix update from other site to install manually I can't the OTA is not detect the .zip file

i have heard that most of the android apps will not work on intel devices because of its x86 based processor...Since zenfone 5 is a intel device..wont that be a issue ? somebody please clear me what all apps dont work on it... :(

AnonD-316102, 11 Oct 2014Why the burning smell comes out from the headphone jacket a... moreyour phone is overheating.. perhaps even somewhat damaged if your seeing smoke coming out. Download either Battery Doctor or Clean Master.. they both have the ability to tell your temperature and shut down programs to cool it.

Hey Tomazz.. I really appreciate your patience and tech knowledge. Been following your post. I have a small query regarding the battery drain issue. I got this phone 3 months back as soon as it was launched and have done all the updates from Asus till date. My version is V 2.19.40.18 all through OTA. In between I remember there was a small OTA update provided by Asus for phone heating and battery drain issues. I did that and got rid of phone heating issue but the battery drain still persist. After reading thru your posts and also as advised similar by Asus I did a fastboot reset. This helped to plug the battery drain but not to a satisfactory level. The phone lasts for about 8-9 hours with very minimun usage. The standby time is good but if it is used to check emails and other messaging apps it drains almost 1% for 2 minutes of use.
Now the patch suggested by you will help me here or it is the same one that I have already downloaded. Please suggest.
Also suggest if there is any other alternative to plug the battery leak if I have missed some of your comments before.
