On the update change-log, it was only mentioned about fixing of power management issues...

now in asus site its all removed..
and i hv 1.18.40.10, there exists only 1.18.40.9

Asus release update 2.19.40.18. Is this new update for android kitkat? Stable or not? Or same like before?

I can't receives anything through Bluetooth, have problem with mx player it is not showing the video files, data can't be sent from pen drive to sdcard, both swipe and pattern lock is asked while unlocking, my z5 is running on kit Kat ... is there any solution for this problems???

Then press power and volume down at the same time and hold them until phone turns on into DOS lookalike.
Press volume up to confirm you know what you're doing.
Now select Restore from Recovery partition.
Let the phone complete it and reboot. It should load OS after that.

Side note - you need to be on the internet to download the updates via System update.

i'm a zenfone 6 user, i couldn't turn on my phone anymore after the kitkat update, all i can see is the asus logo and powered by android, i don't know what to do and i also tried plugging it in my charger but didn't work either...help!!!!!! thank you.

Chimax, 08 Oct 2014It drained only 2% in 3 hours... Which is about the same as mine did normally… the standby in KitKat has been drastically improved.
But there's something running in the background, that's polling the services and is killing the battery.
Trying to pinpoint it has been very hard as it keeps coming up with different things at the top, which make very little sense.
I still don't know what's doing it exactly. But the camera access that Google claims? That can't be.
