Just bought it yesterday...best budget smartphone of the year....cheap+great performance+great low light camera...battery is quite decent...speaker also decent...not that bad...great gaming...i can't believe cheap phone like this can play asphalt 8 on high setting without lag...overall...this phone is a bang for your buck...

My opinion is that not everything is OK with your phone.

Sunlight... morehello bro I am also using this great phone from last 40 days and it works like charm. yes speaker are little slow but quality of sound is like SONY 15k phone. and i am not joking , i get 5.5 hour full talktime with gaming and movie mode BUT I get 24 hour+ talktime with mixed use . AND till date i did not found any lag ......... thanks .
PLEASE GO FOR IT ,IT IS BETTER THAN MOTO G 2nd gen.

[deleted post]2 ways: wait for phone to download OTA update, and tap that you want to install it.
or
Download it from Asus website, plug the phone into the computer, unzip file and copy it to the root of internal memory of the phone then unplug cable.
You'll be asked if you want to install it - tap yes. Wait for process to complete.

Maylyn, 30 Sep 2014Today i bought the azus 5 instead of nokia lumia 630 and hu... moreI only have Lumia 930 and it's a lovely phone. But perfectly honestly I do not like Windows Mobile much. And very much hate the tiles.
Just my personal opinion, so despite Google spying on me, I prefer the look of Android.
As said, I do not know Nokia 630 so it's hard to comment on it.
But I believe that you will like the overall package of Zen.

Hey tomazz do you think that if we update to kitkat will we get all the missed updates of the phone like(otg support) because I have updated the fota 1.18 do I have to root the phone and install all the missed updates or just wait for kitkat!!! Thanks

Sunlight legibility is better than AMOLED and many IPS. Maybe because I use matte film. Camera is OK for the 8 megapixel shooter, with some great effects and modes not available even on high end cameras. Low light is better than most other phones, but noisy. Performance is good.
Speaker volume has been improved somewhat with one of earlier updates, but it's still not as loud as some others. If you want a phone that you can hear from 100m get Oppo Find 7.
Battery backup is not the best.
If updates would fix anything… Well, KitKat is just about to be released, I've just received today but had no time to load it yet. I guess we'll know very soon.
The phone is solidly built toy with reasonable camera, great hand grip and excellent interface. It looks and feels far more expensive than it really is.
