wht is this root folder in internal memory?
& if i donwloaded the file from Asus site, which file i should i should downlaod (whether GLOBAL or GLOBAL(DLM) or P2P) ?

Got my Phone delivered on 27th Aug. Ultimate UI, touch screen, camera options, sleek and light weight.Battery Average.Rest all good.
One disadvantage is there is no Back light for the 3 touch keys on mobile(back key, Home Key and Task manager key).
Overall experience 8 out of 10.

About 180$ for the white, black, gold, red and purple.
Although there's someone selling 150$ a piece on eBay.
Several sellers offer them at around 28-35$ per one, incl. shipping in Asia, but very few have purple. The other 4 colours are available in many places.

Using it for almost 10 days now. i m totally in love with it.it has very coool features like otg which most of the phones not support. UI is very simple and user friendly. NO LAG observed while playing games,multitasking. INTEL has done a great job here by hyper threading tech.Camera has interesting features and compete with samsung 13 MP cameras.what more u want in 10k phone which is worth 20k.

I got a system update of 60 MB firmware system update . Then I down loaded 1.17.40 firmware from ur site , battery level was 10% . Then I cud find 2 zip files on internal memory . Then I switched off . Charged completely .no probs found . Next day device was showing its logo & cud not boot . Then I tried booting by pressing pwr bttn & volm Bryn smltnsly and find an option 2 reboot.again it seemed d same . Then I foned 4 tchncl support of asus service engnr and told me 2 do factory restore . Then I removed SIM and data card and done as he said . I wud like 2 know the changes of that firmware update & what mistake had happened .

I have brought the Zenfone 5 16GB phone. I found everything good as per the phone price apart from the Camera Quality and Internal Speaker Quality.
Its Camera Quality is not too good and internal Sound is also very low.

But you can check eBay or other sites for the wide selection of covers for it.
I personally use Nillkin for nearly all my phones, and consider them excellent.

Celestina, 02 Sep 2014Most users will hv complaint abt the battery life span for ... moreNot necessary to uninstall it.
You can get a battery management app (like Greenify that someone suggested) which stops apps from starting on the boot of the phone.
When apps are not started, they don't drain battery.
You can still start them manually later.
And you can't uninstall the apps that came with the system… well, not most, anyway.

Im have yet to update the firmware suggested by Tomazz.
However i do remember reading somewhere perhaps in this forum that we can delete some of the unwanted software in the phone. I dont seems to be able to find that suggestion here.
