My zenfone 5 keep shutting down everytime i press the power button. This only happen when my battery is 60% and below. Why? Is it bcause of overheating?

This phone screen is so weak that it has cracked due to short fall from half feet high.
Asus service is also worst asking for very very high price
Only for one crack on upper side below camera they are asking Rs 7000 to replace the screen
My phone is one month old and all are working fine
But it has one crack
Now u can think that asus is fooling us by telling gorilla glass 3
And i only want to advice you that.
1. if you had brought this phone please use carefully as it screen in very weak and if its cracks then you have to pay more than its half of the price
2.And if you had not buyed then think about it and then buy
Otherwise this phone is great in this price

Hi Tomazz, After opening my back cover,on the back side, it is written " input:+5.2v---1.35A,7W"
So is it safe to use samsung adapter which has 2.5A output.????

Can you try another cable and another charger or plug it in computer's USB slot (although here charging time would be 2-3x longer)?
But no, that's not normal. I can only think of the charging issues.

When you refuse to install one, it will not ask you to install others, though.
When KitKat is available, you can manually install it.

It is just that they can only write to the folder on SD card that they created and own. They can't write to other folders.
While this is OK for say Camera - it can write photos into its own folder on SD, it is a problem for a file manager app as although it can read things, it can't write them, or for 3rd party players, editors, which won't be able to write indexes or save changes.
So many of these apps will outright break.
Good news is that the file manager app that came with OS has superuser access, and will be able to write anything to anywhere - so built in file manager will still work, so will OS built in apps that have SU access.
But not apps you install yourself.
Unless you root the phone.
This does not mean you can't move apps to SD. You can. If the apps support that.

So if you want to move apps to sdcard in kitkat os, then you need to root your phone and then there are many apps which will remove the restriction of your sd card but remember rooting voids warranty(some sites say).
In my opinion;
Wait for 1yr, root your phone, then be the king of your zenfone :D

Do we need to install all other firmware update al... moreKit Kat will be available OTA. Discovered issues are being fixed in Kit Kat as well, you will not need to reinstall old updates, nor should you as OS will be different.
That said. Any new issues will be resolved via OTA updates for Kit Kat.

Review after using for 7 days :-
1.Display:- just awesome.every icon /picture text appears so crisp,im in love with its display.
2.Lag Free:- This phone does not know what is lagging in smartphones. with its 2gb RAM and intel processor with hyper threading tech it runs butter smooth.
3.camera : its 8mp cam is simply great.different modes are interesting like low,light,time rewind,selfie etc.front cam is also v good.
4.Battery :-some reviews are saying less backup, but i was happy that it runs whole day after using it moderately for calling,net,games.
5.OTG Support:- immediately after swing on i received notification for updating. now my PEN Drive is supported.i was MORE THAN HAPPY for this feature.
6.Value for Money : Remember its not a set which cost you 20k(which its worth for) . its only 10k-8gb model.
Every one after seeing this phone guess it to be 15-20k as its a premium looking device.
My advise to those who are thinking to buy is to not think twice.Not listen to the negative reviews. even S5 has lot of negative comments.
