nnnn, 19 Aug 2014hi..in my asus zenfone 5..the data is not turning on..can a... moreSetting - Select more - mobile network - Access point names - add APN settings(Sim 1 or Sim 2) - click on + on right top - tap on name - Edit the name provided by service provider - Edit the APN as per given by service provider - Save the edited APN setting - Select modified APN setting - Go to Quick setting - Switch Mobile Data ON - now you can see Mobile data connection Notification on top of home screen :-)

I'm using Zenfone 5 for past 15 days, so far no problem except battery draining fast than i heard from others. I'm using mobile in OPTIMIZED MODE OF POWER SAVING, but the smart saver symbol is not displayed in the notification bar, until last week the symbol was visible, for the past 4 of 5 days i'm having this problem.

some of the posts saying, OTG availability after update.
so, update means, is it having 4.4.2 now
I'm planning to buy tomorrow.
Hope all issues are fixed - like bluetooth, facebook, etc

Asus Zenfone 5 supports OTG. Update your zenfone5 via OTA. Select settings then about. im from Philippines.

i bought this mobile before a month ago , it is 16gb internal memory, so far its gud and it lags in battery back up and camera is moderate , its suitable for lite users , if you are heavy users and if you play HD games and 24*7 3g & WiFi users it is not suitable for you battery is a major issue for this config they should provide at least of 2600mah . and also it has a display issue it is dimmer and dimmer when you use it continuously it maybe a issue of zen UI , asus u have to rectify it in next system update .

My phone seems to be not vibrating even after I choose the option to vibrate during incoming calls.
Also, I realised that I don't get push messages for whatsapp and Wechat when its on sleep mode, just like how it is in Iphone. it doesn't have the red "number" indication on how many unread messages are there too on the whatsapp ICON. Anyone having the same prob?

I just bought Zenphone 5 a few days ago. I was disappointed with two things: 1. Frequent hangs while watching online video; 2. The speaker is not loud eough even set at max limit (my old Nokia Asha is much louder than Zenphone5). Can anyone help me how to overcome frequent hanging problem (issue # 1)?
