I was on the lookout for a budget phone, which does not look phoney. After lots of research, hours of checking out reviews, I purchased Zenfone 5 from Asus. I was skeptical about this phone, but boy I was proven wrong. A lovely phone, having a premium feel, looks classy and simple. Its lightning fast, responsive, has a crystal clear cam & great HD capabilities. The battery life as depicted in reviews, aint that bad. On a full charge at 8am, minimal 3g usage, minimal music or browsing and chatting. After this i was left with 70% battery after 12 hours. 3g usage and gaming drains your battery briskly. But, this is a factor in all android phones. Overall, given the price it is a great phone.

Switched from a premium Z2 to a Zenfone 5. After a full day, am pretty impressed with the Zenfone 5. I am a basic smartphone user, and the Zenfone did not fail. Its fast, and responsive. Ran Antutu and got a decent 19645 score. Battery is a wee bit weaker but then it could just be me. At only RM580, its a real bargain. Good work beefing up the RAM to 2GB Asus.

i've bought the phone 5 days ago. At first it performing well, and now it wont start. Why? After watching a video and poof! total blackout. Dont buy this crap!

Apart from the probable OTG support ,not sure why people are dying for the KitKat?
Also the advantage of this 2GB is only for gamers else on a normal course we run maximum with 800MB.
So ,if not a gamer,the 2GB is a useless resource for which we paid?

With the 2GB RAM its performance its awesome you can play heavy graphics games smmothly.

And anytime its better than MOTO G for Price, Features and Performace. And its comes with SD card slot and u can extend the storage up-to 64GB.
Now its comes with 4.3 and asus provding regular system upate i got 4 update in a month.
Asus has provided kitkat version for China and Taiwan last week and I hope we also get kitkat version for India in August end.
I also waiting for Kitkat version.

The zenfone 5 voice little bit low with speaker but sound quality is good. And battery and overall performance has improved after last FOTA update.
Asus providing regular update for firmware.
I got 4 update in 1 month they are doing well.
Thanks Asus and and I hope we get Kitkat version for Zenfone 5 soon. :)

i buy 16gb verson from amozon india at 11.759 ,i very happy with price but battery backup is too bad ,i use only 6 hours with one sim on 3g network from full charge ,u cant video call direct through ur sim for video call u will use a thirdparty app,u can not use 3g both sim at a time , i play subway surfers 5 minutes phone temperature high up to 35 to 40degree celsius,8 megapixel camera ok, i have no complain for call quality ,gret display and viewing angle
