Hi guys I have some questions about rooting this phone.
So last week I was able to root this phone(Zenfone 5, 9gig/WW) using a app with a second firmware update. Then when I updated from the 3rd firmware my root was gone, so I tried to root it again but I failed.
Question: Did someone tried to root it after the latest update?

With the 1.16.x.y,I completely lost the root possibilities and with out root,it sucks.
Just want to get connect to understand how did you got into the custom rom and if I wnt to comeback to WW ,how to do it.
(My adb aisdeload attempts were also not going through!!)

I just got zenfone 5.but internet is not working on... morejust check your acess piont names.if you dont have required settings then just add new APN n enter details manually .
secondly go to 'dual sim card settins 'n check data service network,select the one on which u hv ur data pack.

Mean to say that its hardware at least supports OTG. So you can expect but the company will give the support or not lets see.

Which one is better Asus Zenfone 2gb ram / 16gb rom or coolpad 7320?
Coolpad scores 26000 in antutu benchmark while asus only 19000... and coolpad has 8-core processor and Asus dual-core but made by Intel.
However Asus has 2GB ram and 7320 has 1 GB...

Last one month before I buy Zenfone 5, It's everything really very good but one thing only problem, It's headphone charge very first finish,I use 3G internet 100% charging complete after only 2 hours can use, I don't know what is the problem, Other all phone also same or my phone bettery problem please please please someone give me feedback about your zenfone 5 charge capacity. Thanks.....

no, 16 GB version also have 2560 ( 1600 Mhz ) processor.
only difference in internal storage of device which are available in india.. even 6" version also have atom2560.
i have already seen all device..(4", 5" AND 6") only 4.5" not seen.

abhishek, 03 Aug 2014How to do video calling with this phone As there is no opt... morewell its a good phone, if your a gamer this one for you, but if your on photography and music enthuiast i dont reccomend this, average rating, i hope asus will provide a better update to make this phone not so excellent but one of the best budget phone of 2014, as far as i know ASUS for me is one of the best,looking forward to ASUS,well done (y)!!!!

after i update my zenfone 5. i can't connect it to pc anymore... i tried to download the usb driver from asus website, but i don't think i'm doing it correctly.. also tried to change pc and usb cable, also doesn't work. Any suggestion to fix this problem?

but there are rumours that i have heard and seen on various blogs and forums that kitkat update might give otg support in zenfone 5 just like moto g did.
i too m hoping that asus does that.
as zenfone 4 already is supporting otg out of the box though it is a cheaper phone.

sb, 02 Aug 2014dear no noice cancilation in z5.only flopkat agent ,none ow... morewatch all 10 - 20 zenfone 5 reviews on youtube then hold the device in your hands and actually see it for yourself that that primary mic is along with the usb and secondary is located next to 3.5 mm jack.
n i am not an agent of any company, i am an actual user of zenfone 5 commenting only what have i experienced

AnonD-288293, 02 Aug 2014@virus40 is the phone comfortable for u to hold in the hand... moreit might be 145grams but asus has divided the weight so neatly that u actually feel that the phone is light.
unlike moto g which feels so heavy as the weight of the phone seems to concentrated at one point only(at the centre)
n i understand ur concern.
i too was using a small phone and it took me 2 days to understand how to hold a 5 inch phone. but that is natural.
within a day or two u will understand how the phone fits perfect in ur grip n u will be able to use the with one hand, though using both hands at times, not always would give u better grip.
do not worry about the weight.it is light for a 5 inch phone.
n yes if u would have been using a very light phone like 100s 90 gms
then yes it will feel heavy not because it is heavy but coz of the fact that ur hands are adapted to hold a lighter device.
