Can anyone say me why flipkart is not getti... morenot know why flipkart is not getting zenfone 5 black stock. you have to know that all black, white, golden, red are same from front but there back panel are different so buy any of then and use back cover. no one see the back panel color.

hello friends!! Can anyone say me why flipkart is not getting the stock of Asus Zenfone 5 (8GB - black). I m checking out daily but its showing the same status "Out of Stock". So guys any idea when do flikart will get this mobile stock?? Will they get it or not?? Please kindly reply me. I will be helpful with your reply.

Whole point of buying a phone is to meet a the primary need of making calls and if they are not getting met irrespective of cost of handset ,it doesn't make sense.
I understand lost of people may interested to buy this phone for the gaming purpose or buy from a brand(asus) which not the conventional ones(Like Samsung,HTC or Sony).
But I sear 75% of the people are interested to ensure the Phone purpose and rest of the features are differentiators.

I have noticed after listening to all the hue and cry about the battery of zenfone 5
My battery gave extremely decent performance in gaming music and videos and calls.
It is only when i switch on the internet that the quick battery drain begins (the one people r complaining).
Therefore i urge all my zenfone 5 friends. Do not switch on ur data unnecessarily. Use data when necessary.
If u do this
U can pull off 10-12 hours from a 100% charged zenfone 5.
N people who keep the data on 24*7 should better buy a mediatek chipset micromax canvas power or gionee m2 or a power bank.

[deleted post]really if you tell not like this phone in 10k then i don't know that you what in 10k phone or you are a big fan of Samsung and ready to buy crap phone from Samsung every time. zenfone is very good phone my berry ast of a day easily and use power bank if some problem with yours cost only rs1000 and charge you phone full 5 times.

I have got this same phone through flipkart on 16-07-2014 white color am using past 3-days what ever spec provided is good for this price range but battery backup is not good in this phone even its 2110mah.....am a normal user whatsup phone call even though it only stands for 4hrs per day then again you have charge 100% for next 4hrs usage...battery backup is not good i have updated latest firmware for this in which they provided fix for battery backup after updating also same 4hrs only....
Pros:
Good camera in day time
normal camera indore and night time
no lagging
i have installed and played some games for testing- its good no lags
Very slim
less weight
It support FB & WATSAPP
cons:
its doesnt support OTG(in kitkat update we may get)
Battery backup -4hrs for normal usage(its drains very quickly)
Even if you get all the features but battery doesnt have backup for 1day normal usage then every one should thinkoff
please provide correct review after using the phone. its helps people to select the correct phone for them..

rajivrocks, 20 Jul 2014hey tomazz! why do you recommend the 8gb version over the 1... moreI went with 8 GB, which is the only one available in Thailand. If they had 16, I'd probably take it. Would I still take it with faster CPU? Maybe not - and the reason is that the speed at 1.6 GHz is sufficient for what I use, and faster CPU might heat more and drain battery faster.
8 GB is not much though, and that's why I've also got 32 GB class U1 microSD card to go with it (about 28$ here from Sandisk, others could be cheaper), to use for camera, videos and music.
I keep apps in main memory but I've seen some limitations to SD card use - you can't save multishot photos to SD, no matter how fast. Screenshots are always put in internal memory. Upgrade of OS can only be done from internal memory (root of it) and it's 600+ MB. So I guess to do it you'd need 1.5 GB free. 8 GB is also total size of internal MMC flash card, meaning only about 5.x GB is available for your use.
So if you have a choice between 8 and 16 GB, and the price difference is tiny, take 16 GB. It may come with faster CPU, which could generate more heat and drain battery faster.
If price difference is high, or if you can live with running apps from SD card, and saving videos and photos to it (normal photos all go to SD, just burst shots and screenshots don't, as well as saved FaceBook photos and anything saved from web browsers) then take 8 GB and get a large, fast microSD instead.
If difference was 50$ in price between 8 and 16 GB, you could have gotten yourself 8GB + 64GB U1 card = 72 GB.
Standard class 10 (don't take class 4 or 6 as they are too slow for full HD video) is even cheaper.
That's my opinion, of course you should do what you feel being better :)

Keeping aside the gaming part of it,on a regular phone aspect or business phone aspect,don't see a differentiators.You don't have access to power in maximum 20 hrs,you have brick in hand.

I've been now using ASUS Zenfone 5 for a week now. I pre-ordered it on Flipkart. You trust me or now, this is the best phone to have irrespective of budget. I cannot compare it with iphone. Asus' UI is so good, camera is ultra clear with very helpful inbuilt apps. It looks so smart in you hand. Bcoz of 2GB RAM, the net speed at 3G & wifi is so smooth. I tried downloading apps & it just went through at great speed. The Gorila corning glass 3 makes the handling experience all more premium. If you are thinking of buying a handset with any budget upto 25k....give this one a try, I am sure you'll not feel bad. Try it out within your references, who have already purchased this. Thanks Asus for making such a b'ful and technically full equipped price at a cost below expectation.
