I had no issues with this phone for the first year since i purchased it. After 17 months, phone started to fuck up.. the phone does not charge when powered on, i made a research and found it was a common issue with this phone. I brought it to a service center nearby and the technician charged me 1200php (philippine peso) by replacing a defective part connected to the motherboard. The problem was solved, but now after 3 months, i am having the same problem again..

dont buy this phone, my phone just bricked it stays at asus logo and say invalid image boot...tried reset the phone through recovery mod doesnt work/ flash from external wont work too.. what now

I have had issues with Windows, Nokia, Samsung and Sony mobiles as it freezes all the time and most apps don't work but with the Asus mobile, it doesn't freeze plus has much more to give than any other mobile I have used, I even use Adobe apps on it as i need to do some design for artwork for press and web plus the storage space is 32Gb with my another 32Gb, so you can see.... In Future I am looking at purchasing a Asus tablet if available.... Worth the Buy. BIG THUMBS UP.

This phone is a useless piece of crap. Performed its best only for a month and the the data start stalling and phone gets hot all the time. Do not buy this piece of crap. Piece of shit.

My wife got the 2GB Ram / 16GB Internal version...
its a blast using this phone...
no complaint at all...
Even with her habit of installing this and that, the phone stood there like a rock...
The only missing feature on this phone was no 4G LTE connection...
it could have been the perfect phone, considering the price

Bought it on SEP 2014. died on FEB 2016. Mobile data and wifi can't turn ON. Last only 1 year 4 months. Seek a repair at service center, RM50 only for checking the problem. Suggest repair motherboard approx RM300. Sux.

Phone hasgot serious problem of charging and not turning on. Thud us ridiculous and asus not have any solution to it. So do not buy thus dumb stuff. U will get this issue after e on the if usgae.

I've bought that phone in Thailand on April. Until Jan it already dead. First crash of all apps and then cannot boot. The remedy - only motherboard change.

1ST this asus zenfone 5 is awesome, as time goes by it sucks.
the battery is really disapointing.
