                Terrible audio quality through headphones. Extremely low volume and distorted.
                Asus was claiming class leading output, yet ANY of my previous phones sounded better.
                Such a shame.

                    I own regular Zenfone 5ze620kl.
                    The audio experience when plugging hires earphone is underpowered, there's not enough bass no matter how much custom tweaks I did, including installing the poweramp.
                    I'm afraid it's the hardware...

                    I have chance to compare with my friend's Oppo F7, and to my surprise it sounds much boom (I borrow HTC terms of bass) and clearly beat my ZF5.

                    You sure fooIed me, Asus!

                      Update, tried the 4k 60 fps setting with video. I was surprised to see that the video was much cleaner and smoother compared to the 1080p 60 fps. Also the autofocus is responding more normal. How is this possible?... One should think that 4k 60 fps (bitrate 75 mbit) is much more demanding for the hardware, so i think there;s someting seriously wrong with the 1080P 60 fps setting. Please Asus fix!

Actually i have the zenfone 5z, so i'm in the wrong section here, but zenfone 5 or 5z are basically the same, except 5z has more processing power.
                                  Camera should be the same anyway.
