Seriously, the notch doesn't signify any downside if you will deeply understand it. Its just the closest we have to having all screen (-Marquee) yeah.

For all those that don't seem to know this: The notch on the zenphone doesn't intrude while watching video like it does on the iPhone X and it adds extra screen real estate while browsing the web for example. So yeah, there's a reason for it.

The only reason is that there are no other way to have camera and ambient ligh sensors on the front... You won’t have notch if you would have bezel in the upper section. As for myself i prefer to have notch and cell and battery data on the left and right side of the notch and than screen.

Please ASUS, bring back your old design! Your Zenfone 4 series was the best design I've ever seen! Please, we all hate that ugly and notch. Place your camera position horizontally, vertically is the most ugly position I've ever seen. I don't mind you keep the bezels like my Zenfone 4. Please ASUS, hope you changed it on Zenfone 6.

I know OPPO and vivo give more benefits for sellers here that is why OPPO and vivo sell phones well. Sometimes I hate their salesman cause they sometimes forcing and fooling naive buyers haha.
