It is among the best at low price, absolutely for anything, it just run as fast.
Only big downside is camera not up to par.
The battery drain are caused by all the apps running at background. Do check the leecher Facebook, Whatapps, Snap Chat. Many apps drain the battery at the background without your notice.
I once uninstall all the apps, and the battery drain goes away.
I know it won't works that way because those are the apps that I want to use, so I have quick charger 3.0 accessories everywhere to juice up the phone.

Disable the bloatware then the problem goes away.

Found a way to solve the lag problem on this Zenfone 5z.
It is the ASUS own "Mobile Manager" that cause the problem.
At app setting, disable this app, then the "Battery Mode" will back to the style before Android 9 that has "Performance" mode. No need to change to Performance mode, just need to stay at Normal mode, the lag will eventually goes away. It is the weird power saving thing that caused the UI lag.

Hi! I own an Asus Zenfone 5z, Android 9, updated in 24 October 2019 to the last firmware. I have a problem since I bought it. When I call someone and that person is talking on the phone, my Asus phone does not show me that person is in Call Waiting. And I maintain the call without I Know the person is in Call Waiting. At my other phone (Asus Zenfone 3, Android 8) this option is ok and I see when the other person is in Call Waiting. Can anybody tell me how to fix this issue? Thank you!
