Anon, 24 Mar 2018are you sure? check the sharp aquos.Both devices were released in August 2017, but the Essential Phone was announced back in May 2017 (while Sharp's device was announced and release in August/17).

It seems that the width of screen is not as large as Zenfone 3 Deluxe 5.7", since a 6.2" phone with 18.5:9 ratio is just similar to a 5.5" phone with 16:9 ratio in terms of width.

who am i, 10 Mar 2018i don't think 480EURO for a 256gb/8gb variant, instead 64gb... morebro 480 eur is for 64gig rom with 4gig ram
if you are aiming for 256 GB internal with 8 GBof ram RAM
i think it will be 750 to 800 eur thats my guess and the 128gig internal mem with 6 gig of ram will be 600 to 700 eur...but that's only my guess its not officiall price bro...i hope you will not be shocked when the official price is released..:-D

Personally I don't care how the phone look as long as it performs well. What's the use of copying the design if your going to copy the flaws as well. If they copied the design that's fine as long as the can make it better than what the copied it from. that would make a great statement. But I would agree with the other opinions that the could have just take another route with the design. They could have designed it better
